The Woodshed

The Woodshed was very homely with everything we needed. It was clean and well appointed. The surrounding countryside was lovely and it was just a 25 min easy walk into Much Wenlock. We'll definitely be back!

Long weekend break away from caring for mother in law and helping out with grandson. Location very peaceful and Much Wenlock is a very pretty market town. Spar was handy for essentials. Recommend the George and Dragon for roast dinner and the Talbot Inn for evening meals. Visited the Priory, Guildhall and small museum.

The Woodshed was ideally placed for visiting locations in east Shropshire. It was quiet and with a wonderful outlook over a local valley and towards the Wrekin. Local walks from the property and lots to see nearby.

Another great stay. Loved the fire during the cold nights, very quiet, lots of great walks around the area and some brilliant shops and cafes in Much Wenlock, which is walking distance.

Very relaxing stay, with lots of great walks around the area. Really enjoyed the walks into Much Wenlock with a great variety of independent cafes. Always enjoy the walk up The Wrekin.

Amazing location and lovely hosts

Enjoyed the view of deer visiting the field outside during our comfortable stay here. Well appointed tranquil location and safe parking. We managed a good walk to Ironbridge and back via Much Wenlock. Also Shrewsbury and Attingham Park made a lovely day out beyond our expectations and Bridgenorth with its funicular lift a few miles away was a delight on our journey home. The place was clean and warm, and the visitor book was full of praise from previous guests. We left our phone charger behind, but soon received an offer to post it back to us. It was just lovely and we highly recommend it to friends.

Excellent comfortable property. Tranquil setting with lovely views from the patio reserved for guests. 15 minute stroll into Much Wenlock and its selection of very good pubs. Well equipped kitchen.

We would strongly recommend this lovely cosy comfortable cottage which was very well equipped and nestled in beautiful Shropshire countryside with a peaceful view of fields just outside the window. With a wood burner in the lounge for winter comfort and a pretty sitting area outside this is ideal for a self catering escape any time of the year. The hosts were very welcoming and discreet and the picturesque small town of Much Wenlock is only 1 mile away. With full consideration of the covid regulations for accommodation being taken into account the cottage was very clean and we felt confident staying there. A wonderful base for visiting Shropshire, extremely good value and a very high standard.

Another great stay. Lots of pheasants, deer, rabbits, a hare and a pair of partridge in the field in front of the cottage. Great country walk into Much Wenlock for coffee.

Great location with views of the fields. Nice and quiet, but close to the attractions of Much Wenlock and Ironbridge. Good local walks, spacious cottage, warm fireplace, everything you need really.

Lovely stay here in a beautiful and tranquil setting just outside Much Wenlock. The property is well equipped, clean and comfortable and the proprietor is welcoming and helpful. We hope to come back again in the near future.
