Restaurant is an Authentic Thai restaurant, no English dishes available No Breakfast service provided despite being shown on website Door from car park locked so you have to walk round the hotel to the front door Lovely antiques!!

I was made most welcome on my arrival. The room was clean and a comfortable bed. Hot water and tea and coffee facilities. All that I required from my stay. Happy to return next time I am in the area

Had difficulty checking in as hotel contact was not on What'sapp so we were given a room upgrade which was good

Booked a kingsize room and got a double. Paid half of price for room as deposit but had to pay full price of room on arrival on Saturday!!!!

Tiny room for £75 a night is ridiculous. Buttons to remember to get in room is crazy

An old-fashioned hotel in an old building but there's nothing wrong with that - it has character, unlike a lot of modern anodyne ones. Service was exceptional: accommodating and friendly. It is located dead in the centre of the old town and is ideally placed for exploring it (and for staggering back from the pubs!). It also has a well regarded Thai restaurant on the ground floor, so no need to go far if you don't want to. There is free parking at the back. I would certainly stay again if I was in the area.

Overnight stay, the accommodation was clean and comfortable. Disappointed to find that the hotel had charged my credit card as well as hotels.com having already taken full payment, which I now need to get resolved. Unnecessary hassle.

We were at Snetterton race track for three days. The hotel is just 15 mins from the track, I have stayed here at the Townhouse hotel previously and will always come back. OK - The hotel is a little tired but there’s a comfy bed and a pub across the road. That’s what matters. Parking is in a public car park adjacent to the hotel. It’s a quiet village. There are four pubs in the village. One is opposite the hotel. The rooms are fairly dated and the hot water comes through after a minute or three. But the rooms are comfy and there’s a friendly welcome. There is a Thai restaurant in the hotel that is independently run. I haven’t tried it but it looks quite busy. The race track is about 9 miles away, back along the A11. Usual question - would I return? It’s a big Yes.

Stayed at this hotel a few times needs a bit of an update in bathrooms but all very clean and comfortable value for money

Friendly and comfortable, it’s a very nice hotel in the centre of Wymondham.

Very lovely house hotel with comfortable bedrooms and wonderful staff. Would definitely stay there again!

Tip Top

The room itself was clean, however the cups were dirty as were the spoons. We were given a pint of milk (no fridge) as there were no small UHT milks available. The curtains were not lined and as our room was overlooking the main street, there was a flashing neon sign (Specsavers) on all night, sleeping was disturbed. The main problem in the morning was that the shower water was less than tepid and did not heat up even when left on for some time. All in all, a disappointing stay. Would not recommend.

I enjoyed staying there and the Thai Restaurant sharing the ground floor was excellent also. Alas, on Expedia, breakfast was an option, which I wanted: however breakfast is definitely not available...

We arrived early and the host was really lovely allowing us to check in and bringing us fresh milk. The room was a little tired and shower was very slow The noise from the street at pub closing time was annoying

Very pleasant place to stay and a special recommendation for the Thai restaurant on the ground floor.

We were going to a nearby wedding at the Glebe farm barn and chose this as a local place to stay. The lady on the phone was lovely, very helpful and accommodating. The room was great, just what we needed with a nice warm shower. We were certainly grateful for the added touches (bottle of water each for example), would definitely stay again!
