Villa Marina

Vince and Erwan are fantastic hosts. The guest house is really tidy and has great little touches in the rooms. Nothing is too much, will definitely be back

Our stay at Villa Marina was excellent. We were given a very warm welcome and the room was very comfortable and everything we could want was provided. Beautiful decor, very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was well cooked and served beautifully. We would be very happy to stay there again.

Service was Five Star, as with Accommodation, Knowledgeable and helpful with trips activities and food places to eat

Last minute overnight work stop, made to feel very welcome especially considering how unexpected I was. The place has been decorated to a very high standard and kept its character. Room was immaculate and comfortable. Breakfast was top notch. Highly recommended would definitely stay again.

I reviewed our stay a part of the stay from 15-16 June because we extended this stay. Please read if you want more detail. We loved staying here and will definitely return. The hosts are excellent. The accommodation and breakfast are excellent. It is dog friendly, has off road parking. It is all excellent. It’s a 10 from us. Top marks.

We also stayed 12-15..we extended our stay. Everything was lovely about this little Torquay b and b gem. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and from the minute we arrived to the moment we left, nothing was too much trouble. This is a very dog friendly place. Barney had his own towel, dishes and treats. He loved the fuss. The room was brilliant and just what we needed. There’s a mini fridge, with fresh milk, and chilled water, refilled when you ask. Choose Biscoff biscuits, nespresso coffee or instant, decaf too, (or tea and hot choc) Dressing gowns in the wardrobe, iron if needed. There are USB connections and plug sockets, on both sides of the bed..and fast Wifi, a smart Alexa speaker, plus a TV if wanted. A good shower, lovely shampoo, hand wash and shower gel in the bathroom (I’m going to buy some!) and super fluffy towels. The king size bed was a little soft for us but that’s our choice. It was very comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast choice and quality was excellent. You choose what you want the evening before and what time you would like to eat, between 8-9 am. With excellent fresh coffee, too. You have the use of the pretty garden and furniture for sunbathing or reading, or picnicking.. and there is some off road parking for a few cars. We normally like the anonymity of chain hotels but staying in this little oasis may just have changed our minds! We will return!

Vince and Erwan have created a stylish and relaxing place to stay, within easy reach of Torquay town centre. The rooms were super clean, the beds were very comfortable, the parking easy and the breakfasts were awesome! Their welcoming and helpful nature shines through and we are very much looking forward to returning. Thanks Vince and Erwan for a fantastic stay!

Vince and Erwan were the perfect hosts, extremely friendly and accommodating, and lovely to talk to. The room was beautiful, lots of lovely little touches (freshly baked lemon cake, pillow mist, selection of drinks and snacks in the room that you could pay extra for), everything was spotlessly clean, and the room was well appointed. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We booked our stay due to a funeral, however will definitely consider Villa Marina in future for a stay under better circumstances.

Vincent and Erwan are exceptional hosts—helpful, generous, and kind. They assisted us with our luggage and provided a detailed itinerary to ensure we experienced the best attractions in Torquay, Dartmouth, and the surrounding areas. The breakfast was delicious, with a choice of English and continental varities. Poached eggs were cooked to perfection. Our bedroom was spacious, beautifully decorated, and filled with lovely touches and fragrances. Coffee and tea were always available. The room also featured coffee pods and a coffee machine, adding a nice touch. The cosy garden, complete with seating, was perfect for reading a book, listening to music or having a drink. The location is conveniently close to the train and local attractions. We would love to come back!

It was very clean and well maintained. The staff were brilliant.

Vince and Irwin are incredibly friendly and helpful suggesting places, pubs, restaurants and attractions to visit that will make your stay that much better. Their accomodations are comfortable and breakfast is delicious. Would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend to friends.

It was a lovely place, beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds. The breakfasts were delicious and the hosts were really lovely and good fun. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and even my husband couldn't find anything to moan about which is pretty much unheard of! Parking on the property is an added bonus too. We will definitely stay there again

Wir verbrachten 5 Tage in dieser schönen Unterkunft. Es ist sehr gepflegt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Man kann auch im Garten sehr gemütlich sitzen. Vince und Erwan sind einfach liebenswert und kümmern sich wunderbar um ihre Gäste. Ihre Tipps für Ausflüge oder Restaurants waren alle super. Das Frühstück ist klasse, vorallem der Kaffee, frisch zubereitet am Tisch. Sehr empfehlenswert.

No complaints every thing was very good the owners were very frendly .good breakfast.nice clean room.10 out of ten all round.

The whole stay was fantastic. From arriving to leaving we were made to feel like friends and treated like such. Breakfast was amazing and so delicious.
