We stayed for two nights, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very nice with everything that you could need, great tea tray, lovely toiletries etc. very comfortable bed, good lighting and a nice hot shower. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Plenty of parking too and in a great location for walking to both Bowness and Windermere. We would definitely stay here again. The only negative issue was a thoughtless guest on our final night who played the TV very loudly and had no regard for other guests.

Really lovely place, the photos don’t do it justice. It’s a great location for us 20 minutes walk from the lake and restaurants and 10 minute walk the opposite direction to Windermere town.
The room was lovely and breakfast is recommended especially the pancakes.

Great location! Totally enjoyed this hotel, especially at the rate, great value for the price. Lovely breakfast! My only request is add a luggage rack to the bedrooms to the rooms. No place to put my suitcase!

We stayed for two nights, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely short stay. Staff very friendly. Comfortable bed, room cosy. Tasty breakfast. All in all good value for money and walking distance to windermere. Bowness not too far either.

Comfortable beds.
Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and the full English breakfast was excellent..
Would stop again..
Easy to walk to Windermere town, and not far to Bowness.
Overall, it was a great value stay..

The room was small, and some of the furniture was dated and damaged (knocked chipped), but it was clean. The breakfast was excellent and the service was great. Would we stay here again yes but maybe upgrade the room choice

Friendly staff and the room was clean and the bed comfortable, the breakfast aas delicious and prepared fresh.
Only a few things they can improve on-
The shower wasn't that powerful, the head didnt really acheive must power or water where it was needed, not adjustable.
The bar only offered bottled beer and lacked atmosphere, their missing out on not having the guests relax in the lounge area, a social club a couple of minutes walk was freindly.

Excellent value for money. Staff warm and welcoming. Breakfast was to a very high standard and freshly prepared. Convenient location. Hard to fault as there was a real sense of generosity. Would definitely recommend. As a Coeliac I found the staff well aware of the condition and I felt safe eating the breakfasts, which added greatly to the quality of the stay.

Room was small requested middle floor got top requested bath got shower. Some of the bedroom doors wouldn't shut properly so had to slam them which isn't good when people come in late at night.

A very homely, warm & welcoming B&B- lovely lounge area by the bar. The rooms were very updated given the age of the lodge itself. Lovely bathroom and super comfortable bed and beautiful furnishings
