I was at the hotel for 3 days and the customer reception was good and pleasant. The staff at the hotel were pleasant. The room was clean and the price was ok. The location was good, close to other hotels and shops.

I liked the fresh flowers at the entrance and how helpful the gentlemen at the entrance were. The book in tge room indicated the availability of contemporary breakfast. However 2 if us were told to pay while others did not?

excellent customer service, excellent food with fair pricing, safe, and clean. Parking is crowded and traffic congested. Overall, I am pleased with my stay.

There is no comment or complain from my side concerning my staying at Saro Maria Hotel. All I can say is I am looking forward to staying again at the said hotel during my next holiday in Addis Ababa.

Checked in and went to the room (416). Met the manager and three other individuals coming out of the room, said they were inspecting the room to ensure that everything was good. 1) Waterfall shower head was broken, and water only leaked from around the edge of the shower head. 2) Water leaked from under the shower out into the bathroom. 3) One Towel for two guests and after repeatedly calling the front desk and housekeeping they never provided another towel until the second day after I contacted the Manager. My Wife, who is Ethiopian, called several times and got no HELP from anyone that she spoke to (Housekeeping or the front desk). I contacted the front desk and asked to speak to the Manager to which I was informed that he was at breakfast. The manager returned my call and he apologized for everything and came with the maintenance man to fix the waterfall shower head. It just made my wife feel really disrespected by her own people. It is so sad that she was treated this way. 4) Jacuzzi in the room 416 was not working, so the night manager moved us to room 415 where the Jacuzzi was working but it leaked from the bottom out into the bathroom. I thought that the maintenance worker was going to return and caulk the bottom of the Jacuzzi only to find out that what I thought was a caulking gun was a huge Plunger which he told my wife to use to get the stopper out of the jacuzzi after we finished our bath. 5) At approximately 4:43am hose busted in the bathroom.

Always good coming back to Saro Maria, the staff are like family. They do whatever they can to make your stay comfortable.

They did not have my booking despite the confirmation from Hotels.com The manager, Samuel was extremely rude and I was kept waiting for a long time without any feedback. They first said they had no room and when I asked them for a refund, miraculously managed to find one. Room was okay but the experience with the manger left a a lot to be desired - Definitely the last time I stay at Saro Maria

The staff was intrusive, making calls to the room after 9pm for no reason. The pool was empty (no water) and no functional chairs to sit on outside. Ordering room service require talking to 5 different people and several call-backs for a simple pasta dish.

Das Hotel ist ok. Nichts Besonders- Zimner zur Strasse sehr laut, obwohl es nur eine kleine Strasse ist. Hotelstaff arbeitet mit den Taxis zusammen, so dass die Taxipreise überhöht sind. Flughafen Shuttle hat aber super geklappt.

What I did not like was the Restaurent, was that the display of food that was made very un appetizing to look at or to consume. The Service was extremly slow and poor. Empty dishes or trays not being replaced. or refilled. etc..
