The place was very basic and tiny
(I stayed in the single room with a single bed and small desk and that's it.. tiny shower) but it was clean and functional and for the price, it was great. Location was amazing. Only problem was no AC and it was super hot 35+ degrees C!! They had a fan and a window that opens.

This property is located perfectly in the middle of old part of Bordeaux. 1/2 block from tourist center were most tours leave from 1/2 block from were trans leave. They have an early breakfast that starts at 7:00 AM. It safe and quite.
The only awkward part is you get the key from around the corner, but location more than makes up for this inconvenience. I would stay here again.

L’hôtel est très bien situé mais la chambre était trop étouffante. Réservation faite pour une chambre triple de 20m2 au 4ème (il me semble pour l’étage…), nous avons été déplacé au 2eme étage sans ventilateur pour mieux supporter la température.
La proposition était sympathique mais la chambre était minuscule et la fenêtre donne sur un puits de lumière faisant office d’aération. Pas le temps de retourner à l’accueil pour changer, suite à un impératif horaire.
Nuit très suffocante. Je regrette de ne pas avoir annuler ma réservation avant sachant que j’avais pris l’option…
Le petit déjeuner était correct mais rien d’extraordinaire non plus. En revanche, le lieu du petit déjeuner était très agréable, en terrasse.

Bonjour,
Nous sommes arrivés dans une chambre d’hôtel où il faisait une chaleur abominable, nous avons mis ça sur le compte du temps actuel et nous avons décidé d’ouvrir la fenêtre le temps d’aller manger au restaurant. Nous sommes revenus dans la chambre quelques heures après, et la chaleur était insoutenable. Nous nous sommes rendus compte que le chauffage était allumé à fond en plein mois de juillet et en temps de canicule. La fenêtre ne donnait même pas sur un extérieur mais sur un conduit donc pas d’air ni de lumière Nous avions plus de 30° dans la chambre, nous n’avons pas pu dormir.
Outre cela, chambre propre et équipement de base. Merci au service de chambre de bien vérifier le chauffage après l’heure départ car c’est très désagréable de payer une telle somme pour ne pas dormir.

The location was amazing, close walking yo many places and right near a tram stop that was very easy to use and get around in. There was no air conditioning and being on the 4th floor with 94 degree heat outside was too hot, even with the window open and the fans on. The shower was extremely small, even for skinny people, making it very hard to clean without either falling out of the shower or flooding the floor with water. I would still stay there again because the location and prices are still worth it.

Très bien situé, en plein centre et pratique pour visiter la ville à pied. En revanche, l’expérience a été très compliquée à cause du bruit : une boîte de nuit se trouve juste sous l’hôtel et l’insonorisation est quasiment inexistante. Impossible de dormir correctement avec la musique et les nuisances jusque tard dans la nuit.
Autre gros point négatif : une forte odeur d’égout persistante dans la chambre, vraiment désagréable durant tout le séjour.
Dommage, car l’emplacement est excellent, mais le confort n’est malheureusement pas au rendez-vous.

Ideally located near local transport, historical sites, eateries, bars, main shopping street and the river.
There is no reception desk on the premises; and you need to pick up the key from another hotel which you wouldn’t know as it’s not listed when booking. I was given my room key early at 1pm but when I went to the room, it had not been cleaned from previous use. I saw the housekeeper on the floor but she told me to call reception from my room by dialling 9. But, the phone in my room didn’t work, so I had to walk back to the other hotel to report it. Additionally, the electricity socket in my room was broken, and despite being told the maintenance man would come fix it, in the 4 days I stayed it wasn’t meaning I had nowhere to charge the phone unless I unplugged the tv on the wall. The furniture is very old, curtains have seen better days, and the bedding and towels are old and stained. The fire alarm went off at 11am on day 1 of my stay, and when I evacuated there was no one to help any of us. Despite the hotel saying it’s soundproofed, it is not. I heard the man next door’s every move, upstairs even worse, and next door the other side is a disco (Le Circle - next to the hotel) with thumping music until 5am. The heater in the room seemed to be pre 1990, it was so old and dirty and didn’t keep the room warm at all. The windows are not double glazed so there was draft coming through. View awful, nappies & rubbish strewn out the back. I would not recommend staying here.

Cafe and bar available around the corner. Only problem i experienced was that the power went out in the middle of the heatwave. Not hotels fault, but maybe provide a bigger fan in every room.

L'acceuil ne se fait pas a l'entrée de l'hotel, il faut faore le tour du batiment et cgercher dans un autre hotel, pour trouver accueil! Pas pratique et pas boen indiqué. Idemnpour le petit dejeuner! Dommage car la chambre est tres bien, spacieuse, propre, calme et confortable !
Le personnel a l'acceuil de l'autre hoteel etait gentil et compétent.
