Friendly service and a comfortable setting. Breakfast was very good but dining options were limited

Chambre très confortable, au calme, l'hôtel est idéalement situé (10min à pied du centre de Villeneuve et 10min en voiture d'Avignon). Très gros point positif pour le petit déjeuner très complet avec quelques douceurs faites maison. Très bon accueil!

Quiet hotel in Villeneuve that is well located to walk into town. Also a great location to visit Avignon. The property is beautiful and well maintained. They serve an excellent breakfast. Parking is easy either in front of the property or in the surrounding area.

wir verbrachten hier die letzten 2 Nächte einer längeren Reise durch die Provence und die Côte d‘Azur. Nebst Menton war Villeneuve-les-Avignon DIE Entseckung dieser Reise. Weg vom Massentourismus, KEINE ‚petite Train touristiques. Das Hotel liegt in Gehdistanz zur historischen Altstadt und Avignon ist entweder zu Fuss, Velo oder Bus gut erreichbar, wer den den Rummel liebt.

L'hôtel a vraiment beaucoup de charme. L'endroit est très calme, reposant. Le service est aimable, très jolis salon et restaurant, dîner et petit déjeuner sur la terrasse bons et agréables. La chambre et la salle de bains étaient confortables et bien équipées. Il suffirait d'un peu de maintenance de détail (abattant WC à fixer, coup de balai sur les terrasses, changement de quelques sièges de piscine...) et tout serait au top !

This is a gorgeous property in Avignon with a lovely pool I only wish we had time to stay longer!

Lovely garden and patio. Huge room. Would have liked a fridge in room. Coffee and tea in room, but strangely no milk ! Had to go down to reception every morning. No ice machine either. Had to go down to the kitchen. No elevator. Very friendly accommodating staff.

The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood about a 10-minute walk from the shopping and dining district of "new" Avignon (across the river from the "old" walled city). Beautiful grounds and courtyard, peaceful setting, very helpful staff, and a diverse group of guests.Get a room with a balcony facing the courtyard/gardens if you can! It's not as convenient to the walled city but we had a car and drove to the walled city and surrounding cities with relative ease. The hotel was a peaceful respite at the end of a long day of sight seeing. Thumbs up!

Beautiful hôtel that has so much old charm. Wales down to the square for great dinner and not far to drive to old town.

Generelt en god oplevelse. Det første værelse vi fik tildelt var ikke rent. Fik dog hurtigt et nyt rent værelse. Hotellet er noget slidt og trænger til en overhaling og nogle komfortting på værelset. Bl.a. ladestik og bedre belysning ved spejl, flere bøjler i skabet og et lille køleskab, som mangler meget når det er varmt. Det har potentiale til at blive rigtig fint.

The property has beautiful grounds. However, we were put in the older section which is decorated with French charm, but has not been kept up. We were two women traveling alone, and the room had a door to a patio that was shared with the next room and a staircase leading to the open parking lot. That door would not lock. It would appear to lock, but you could push it open from the outside. It did have a wooden shutter you could close, but it wasn’t that secure and they would open it when they cleaned the room. When the lock was brought to the staff’s attention, they dismissed the complaint because it “locked from the inside,” ignoring that anyone could enter from the outside. The room was listed as having a shower, so I’d expect some type of mount for the shower head, not just a tub with a handheld shower head. The tub faucet with the handheld head was adjacent to the vanity and had no curtain/glass, so water would spray your belongings on the counter. The tub and door in the bathroom had obvious mold and mildew. Additionally, upon arrival the clerk ran a 100€ deposit, rather than a pending charge, for incidentals and said the difference would be credited back. But at checkout I had to pay incidentals separately (the bill was wrong) & when asked about the 100€ she said he shouldn’t have charged me. Hopefully I get that money back. Finally, the food did not match the quality of other comments/reviews. It was mediocre at best.

The staff was outstanding. The desk clerk on duty when we checked in was gracious enough to carry a piece of luggage up a flight of stairs to our room. The hostess, Nathalie, friendly, professional and very kind. The breakfast and dinner were outstanding. Wonderful property, lovely spacious interiors, expansive gardens, and pool. Great neighborhood.
