Odalys Residence le hameau du Borsat

Arrived ~15 minutes after check-in closed due to flight delay and traffic. Called the hotel repeatedly for an hour beforehand and again on arrival, including the emergency number, with no response. Was locked out late at night in freezing conditions (-2°C). Hotels.com were also unable to reach the property and could not resolve the situation, leaving me to find alternative accommodation at my own expense. The following day, the manager claimed the phone had not rung. I called the number in front of her and it again went unanswered. She attributed the issue to my phone and was dismissive, with no apology. Overall, a failure of basic access, poor communication, and unprofessional handling.

Bonjour un studio tres petit pour 2 adultes et 2 ados un équipement spartiate , mes bien situé tres proche des pistes.

Communication for property was fine. Told us codes etc in a SMS message. Upon entering the property the place seemed clean until you saw up close. We were a family of five and the accommodation served its purpose. It was close to the kids ski schools. The bath / shower water was very temperamental. If a kid was left on there own they could have scalded themselves. The electrical outlets needed changing as the adapters did not stay in place. The bed linen was left in packaging for us to make up our beds. Unfortunately though the only warm blankets were left with the pillows. I dread to think when or if they were last washed. The room heaters did not always work. Felt like you needed to play with settings to get a bit of warmth. One roll off toilet paper, no cloths, dish towels or cleaning products. Cutlery and crockware was there. Unfortunately though. Not cleaned. Last group obviously just launched everything in cupboards. One pan had old stale water left in it. Ski locker was so small. You would have struggled to get 3 snow boards in. No where for boots. Had to leave in corridors to dry. Bit of a trek to the centre unless you walk through the snow. Overall, not good. We had to make the most of it.

Room opened by staff with key to leave our second week room key. Cash and credit cards taken at sane time. Staff at hotel did nothing and did not return our messages or calls to the emergency number.

Une seule personne pour le check in, soit une heure d'attente. Chambre ridiculement petite. J'ai passé la semaine à déplacer les valises en fonction de notre activité. Wifi et TV payant (c'est plutôt mesquin). Pas d'isolation au niveau des portes et fenêtres, du coup, quand les voisins fument dans leur appartement ou sur le balcon, vous en profitez aussi. Literie déplorable (matelas mousse bas de gamme) je suis reparti en ayant mal au dos. Un groupe de 45 jeunes à séjourné la même semaine au même étage... bruit jusqu'a minuit, cris, rigolades, portes qui claquent... Casiers à ski juste pour 3 paires, si vous êtes 4 il faudra ruser. Coté positif : personnel agréable et sympathique. Résidence aux pieds des pistes, location de ski juste en face. Suffisamment proche des commerces et restaurants pour y aller à pied et suffisamment éloigné pour ne pas subir les nuisances sonores de l'extérieur.
