Only stayed for 1 night on way through, a quiet location, lots of space to sit and relax, catered for young children as lovely garden area and a small play room. The bed was very comfortable. Sofa bed for my son was very hard and not so comfortable but fine for 1 night. Friendly staff

Accueil très agréable. La chambre propre, même si la décoration est très locale. Petits déjeuner délicieux. Je recommande vivement.

Es sollten Fliegengitter angebracht werden. Und ein Ventilator im Bad, wenn schon keine Tür drin ist. Der Salat war wunderschön angerichtet, allerdings schmeckte er, wie aus der Tüte. Und auch schon etwas überlagert.

Perfect stop for a night sleep at a long drive. Close to the highway. If you would visit the area it seems like a nice place to spend a few night also.

The hotel is absolutely brilliant. We love it. It is quaint and comfortable. Quite a find.

Wij waren er slechts een avond, nacht en ochtend ivm doorreis. Het hotel is best druk ingericht met heel veel uilen en beren, maar alles is superschoon en goed geegeld. Met eigen pasjes kan je zelf bepalen hoe laat je weer het hotel in wilt. Prima bedden, nette badkamer en heerlijk ontbijt. Een aanrader!

Beautiful and authentic hotel. Very kid friendly and amazing kind staff. Good box spring beds. We stayed one night with our two kids (3 and 6 years old) on our way to Italy. I think they will remember this place for the rest of their life. We will be back!

Lovely hotel in a farming area. Hosts were very welcoming and had all manner of amenities available. Would definitely recommend!

Very poor customer service! I showed up at 9:30 pm to check in and entered the lobby to the front desk. Long story short, I was stuck waiting in the lobby with no sign of anyone until 11pm. Eventually I had to contact Expedia, they called and received no answer. After a while, they were able to get a hold of the owner and he finally came out. He walked into the lobby and looked angry. I said hey, and he said hey back, but in an pissed off way. I said I have a booking and he says “oh yeah, what’s your name?” (again in anger) I said my name and he grabbed the key card and started stomping off to the room.. .. so I followed… On the way up the stairs I said I had been waiting since 9:30, and he replied in a rude tone “I don’t speak any English”. We got to the room, he opened the door, passed me the card and walked away angrily. If it wasn’t already past 11pm and I would have just left. I did not want to stay there. I can’t believe a hotel owner would treat his guest like this. I was unhappy about the long wait when I arrived, but I could understand if he was busy doing something, but then to be treated like that once he did show up. Unbelievable. I slept, and left as soon as I woke up. I paid for breakfast with the booking, but just left. Extremely poor customer service!

Room had everything you needed. Decor is full of character! I was uncertain about the fleecy bedding, but it was very comfortable. The fridge was small (hold 4 cans) and quite noisy. The heating consisted of a fan heater, but was adequate. Very clean. Usb port in bedside light. Decent shower. Nice and quiet. Beware! no lift, and a spiral staircase. Reception Didn’t speak any English and I don’t speak German but we got by 😊. Food smelled good but did not use the restaurant at all on this occasion.
