Very nice hotel. We first got room 404, and the tv wasn’t working. Went down to the desk and with no fuss at all got a new room, on the 6th floor. Breakfast buffet was good, although no bacon, too bad. We were in town for the Dortmund – Wolfsburg match. The hotel is a nice walk to the stadium. The town itself has very little to offer I’m afraid. But the match and stadium was great, so the trip was worth it. Note to hotel: Some international channels would be very nice. All German channels, not even CNN og BBC was there.

Second visit and this time an inner room as the street ones can get noisy with the cars racing round the inner ring. Good sized room with a sitting area with fridge and coffee machine and kettle. Replacement pods were lacking but free coffee available from the lobby. Shower good but needs a door as if your tall you soak the floor plus for the slight mobility challenged a handle next to the toilet or a ledge would be good as using the toilet roll holder for leverage is not great. Did not have breakfast this time but last year we did and the choice was good. Easy walking to the shops and local transport and good reasonably priced underground parking available. Cost about €60 for our 5 day stay. (4 nights). Staff friendly.

Een uitstekend hotel op een steenworpafstand van het station en de binnenstad. De locatie is echt super! Het personeelsbestand is uiterst vriendelijk en servicegericht. Ik had de pech dat er in Dortmund een voetbalt was waar zo' 150 Nederlandse pubers aan deelnamen. Die ook allemaal in het hotel verbleven. Die pubers hebben de hele nacht voor overlast gezorgd. Dit toch even aangekaart bij het personeel. Hoewel zij daar ook niks aan kunnen doen hebben ze ons overplaatst naar een luxere kamer op de bovenste verdieping waar die pubers niet verbleven. Het personeel heeft het probleem supergoed opgepakt en opgelost. Hoed af!

Insgesamt bodenständig, zentrale Lage direkt am Hauptbahnhof. Personal freundlich und hat unkompliziert auch Sonderwünsche erfüllt. Zimmer nennen sich alle Suite, woran auch immer man das festmacht. Auf jeden Fall viel hatte man viel Platz. Ein Hauch mehr Innivation und Modernität bei den vier Sternen hätte ich mir gewünscht. Nachteil der zentralen Lage: Offene Drogen- und Obdachlosenszene in direkter Umgebung. Fenster sind nicht lärmresistent, da besteht dringend Optimierungsbedarf. Wenn möglich Zimmer Richtung Bahn, nicht Richtung Straße nehmen.

Chosen mainly due to the location to the train station, the majority of things were satisfactory. A pleasant welcome, good-sized room, comfortable bed, ample hanging space, fair -sized bathroom and good internet speed. Disappointed at the lack of a hospitality tray and lack of control over A/C. Fitness room only has free weights and no machines so I ended up using the stairwell for my exercise. Breakfast buffet was good and check out was not a problem. Price was also quite fair.

Een uitstekend hotel op een steenworpafstand van het station en de binnenstad. De locatie is echt super! Het personeelsbestand is uiterst vriendelijk en servicegericht. Ik had de pech dat er in Dortmund een voetbalt was waar zo' 150 Nederlandse pubers aan deelnamen. Die ook allemaal in het hotel verbleven. Die pubers hebben de hele nacht voor overlast gezorgd. Dit toch even aangekaart bij het personeel. Hoewel zij daar ook niks aan kunnen doen hebben ze ons overplaatst naar een luxere kamer op de bovenste verdieping waar die pubers niet verbleven. Het personeel heeft het probleem supergoed opgepakt en opgelost. Hoed af!

Alt i alt en god oplevelse.. Var afsted med venner på fodboldrejse, for at se Dortmund. Vi boede tæt på Centrum, Hovedbanegården og Ubahn/Metroen. Jens / Danmark

Insgesamt bodenständig, zentrale Lage direkt am Hauptbahnhof. Personal freundlich und hat unkompliziert auch Sonderwünsche erfüllt. Zimmer nennen sich alle Suite, woran auch immer man das festmacht. Auf jeden Fall viel hatte man viel Platz. Ein Hauch mehr Innivation und Modernität bei den vier Sternen hätte ich mir gewünscht. Nachteil der zentralen Lage: Offene Drogen- und Obdachlosenszene in direkter Umgebung. Fenster sind nicht lärmresistent, da besteht dringend Optimierungsbedarf. Wenn möglich Zimmer Richtung Bahn, nicht Richtung Straße nehmen.

Room was nice and clean and relatively modern, even if the rest of the building felt a little old. The location is quite nice and easy for walk to a lot of different places.

Second visit and this time an inner room as the street ones can get noisy with the cars racing round the inner ring. Good sized room with a sitting area with fridge and coffee machine and kettle. Replacement pods were lacking but free coffee available from the lobby. Shower good but needs a door as if your tall you soak the floor plus for the slight mobility challenged a handle next to the toilet or a ledge would be good as using the toilet roll holder for leverage is not great. Did not have breakfast this time but last year we did and the choice was good. Easy walking to the shops and local transport and good reasonably priced underground parking available. Cost about €60 for our 5 day stay. (4 nights). Staff friendly.

Chosen mainly due to the location to the train station, the majority of things were satisfactory. A pleasant welcome, good-sized room, comfortable bed, ample hanging space, fair -sized bathroom and good internet speed. Disappointed at the lack of a hospitality tray and lack of control over A/C. Fitness room only has free weights and no machines so I ended up using the stairwell for my exercise. Breakfast buffet was good and check out was not a problem. Price was also quite fair.
