Perfect location nice clean friendly hotel family run . Nice breakfast spread would highly recommend

We stayed as friends with teenage daughters. The accommodation was beautiful (we had a two bed with terrace and hot tub), the apartment was clean and with everything you could need. Nikolas and his family were welcoming, warm and super helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they had thought of everything that you might need in your room. Breakfast was amazing, lots to choose from- cakes, spinach pies, Greek yoghurt and fruit with lots more. Location was beautiful, walking distance to town and the beach. Safe and quiet at night. Easy access to the local bus for trips to Fira, Red Beach and Oia for 2€. We would love to return :)

What a lovely little hotel with the most amazing helpful staff. This is a family owned hotel and will assist in anything you want if they can. Thank you for an amazing stay even though it was only short.

Hotel was lovely. Only a short walk into the beach. Staff were so friendly and were happy assisting with airport transfers/check in delays. Would 100% recommend this hotel.

Nicholas and his grandma were so attentive to me and my family they could not have been kinder. It is a beautifully family run hotel and has a lovely traditional Greek feel about it.

The hotel is family owned and the owner is onsite. Nicholas was amazing with all the check in details and helping us throughout our stay with local recommendations. Our room had a hot tub which the kids used in the evening. The hotel is walking distance to the Kamari beach.

The staff was welcoming and catered to our needs. The facility was spotless. Breakfast was great with lots of options.

A great 6 night stay at the Agean Gem. Attentive, welcoming staff. Clean, comfortable room. Very good breakfast. Plenty of eateries close by, Fistikies was a great recommendation. Hope to return again.

Wonderful hotel, and staff. Within walking distance of beach, shopping and restaurants.

Great family run business. Immediately felt welcoming by the staff. Rooms are super clean and beds really comfortable. Theres also a large amount of amenities such as shampoo, shower gel, moisturiser etc. The hotel is also a stones throw away from the main strip and beach. A 5 min walk you'll be by the beach with tonnes of resuturants/bars which usually offer sundbeds if you purchase something. All in all, great stay and highly recommend.

Great little family run hotel 5-7 mins walk from Kamari beach, 2 mins from restaurants & mini markets. 7-8 mins to closest local bus stop to Fira. We had a king & a single bed, the room was modern & spacious with a simple but very tasteful decor. Espresso machine & empty fridge were useful. AC wa nice & cold once on awhile. We had a jacuzzi & a lovely very private patio area with seats but the weather was too hot in July for hot tubs! The pool area is small with around 6 deck chairs & 4 bean bag chairs but it was never too crowded when we were there. Beach /pool towels provided which is handy. Theres an outdoor shower & toilet too. Breakfast had a good selection of fresh fruit, greek yoghurt (with the best cherry compote), cold cheeses/meats, scrambled eggs & bacon, boiled eggs, pastries, toast etc which they refreshed as it emptied & as vegetarians we had lots of options. Theres a few seats by the pool & more seating upstairs in a large balcony (could do with being signposted as took us a few mornings to discover this area). The owners especially their grandson Nikolas were very helpful & he has great English so not knowing any greek wasnt a problem! Will definitely recommend it to others & hopefully someday return.

Owned by the sweetest family! Such a beautiful property that was walking distance to the heart of Kamari. Highly suggest staying at Aegean Gem! Kamari has so much to offer & the perfect spot to have a relaxing trip in Santorini, with buses that make other areas on the island easily & affordably accessible.

It’s exactly what it says a Gem! A family run hotel & Nicholi on reception was lovely, nothing was too much trouble for him & always with a smile! I would recommend this hotel 100%, perfect!

We have just returned from a fantastic 3 night stay at the Aegean Gem Hotel in Kamari, Santorini. The hotel is exactly as it says; a gem! From check in to check out Nikolas made us feel welcome. On arrival we were offered a welcome drink, and then shown to our suite. The Grace Suite was exactly as described. It had a modern sleek design. Equipped with all you could need for your stay (kettle, Nespresso machine, hairdryer, fridge, toiletries, USB charging ports, iron etc). AirCon in the room was excellent, and made the evenings very comfortable. Our suite also featured a sunbathing patio with a small pool. Although our pool was very warm, it was a really nice addition to the room, and a great alternative to the main pool or beach. The main pool was a perfect temperature to cool off during the heat of the day. The pool has around 8 comfortable sun beds to lay on, as well as additional table seating. Bar menu features a nice selection of food and drink at very reasonable prices. Breakfast could either be eaten on the sun terrace or around the pool. We opted for the sun terrace. There was a great selection of hot and cold food served (Greek yoghurt, toast, cereal, pastries etc). A great start to the day. Nikolas helped us with airport transfers and using the islands bus service. The bus service is fairly infrequent, and it is not possible to access most areas of the island by a direct bus. Airport transfers were very quick and easy, costing €25 each way.

This is a perfect boutique hotel, amazing rooms, we had a room with a hot tub, gorgeous modern and simple decor, everything is first class. Great location for the beach and amenities. The best thing is Nikolas and all of the staff/family running the hotel. So friendly and very very helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend to families, couples or if travelling alone. We will definitely return.

My family and I had a brilliant stay at Aegean Gem. It’s a small, family run hotel and it’s lovely. We stayed in one of the suites. The hotel is super clean and our suite was really spacious. It’s about 5-10 minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. Kamari is a lovely chilled resort. Must say a big thanks to Nikolas and Mary at the hotel. They are both so friendly and welcoming and just very lovely people. It was a pleasure to stay at your beautiful hotel. Thanks again Sara & Family x
