We just got back from an absolutely unforgettable stay at this hotel, and honestly, we’re still glowing from the experience. As a married couple looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy some quality time together, this place exceeded all our expectations. Right from the beginning, we felt so genuinely welcomed. The staff is simply incredible so friendly, kind-hearted, and always happy to help. It never felt like “just a job” to them you can tell they truly care about making guests feel at home, and that made a huge difference for us. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean and we mean really clean. Our room, the lobby, the pool, even the small details around the property were always neat and perfectly maintained. It’s one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed at. The food deserves a special shoutout! Every single meal was a highlight fresh, flavorful, beautifully presented, and made with love. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, we kept finding new favorites and honestly never got tired of it. You could feel the passion in every bite. Beyond the great service and food, we also had so much fun. Whether we were just relaxing by the pool, enjoying a drink together, or exploring the surroundings it was all so easy, laid-back, and full of good vibes. Room , pool & property was very clean. Staff were very obliging. Price included full board (breakfast lunch & dinner). Property was a bit hard to locate was the only drawback.

We stayed at Aegean View for two weeks, in Stavromenos. We came with two kids, ages 13 and 11. It was an excellent stay. It's a new hotel and the owner and staff were very responsive to our needs. The pool is very nice, the breakfast is perfect, lots of fruit, delicious eggs, ham and cheese, etc. Air conditioning worked well in the room which is crucial for a July vacation in Crete. Lots of parking and we rented a car and drove all around Crete. One big bonus was that it was just 10 minutes from downtown Rethymno and we were happy we didn't stay IN Rethymno, it's gotten too crowded, difficult to navigate and impossible to park. It's must easy to stay just outside of Rethymno. It is 2 minutes walk to a small beach but there are so many gorgeous beaches in Crete, we didn't really spend time at the beach outside of our hotel which is a little rocky. Overall a fantastic stay and happy to recommend.
