Grand Blue Beach Hotel

We were very disappointed with our stay. After check-in, we found the toilet seat broken. The reception informed us it could be repaired in the evening, but since we had dinner plans, we agreed it could be fixed the next day after check-out. We placed the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. However, when we returned from dinner, someone had entered our room without permission, repaired the toilet, and left dirty footprints and stains in the bathroom. This is a serious breach of privacy. No staff should enter a guest room when the “Do Not Disturb” sign is displayed. When we reported the issue, the reception staff seemed unable to understand why we were upset. In addition, we found toothpaste on the bathroom door and a large brown water stain on the duvet. So the room was never really clean in the first place! Mistakes can happen, but respecting guests’ privacy and maintaining cleanliness are basic standards. Unfortunately, there was no assistance, and no goodwill gesture. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience — luckily, only for one night.

Service personnel was very friendly and kind. The location is super since it is close to the next lovely town in walkable distance. The view from the room nice. The stay however was very disappointing. The hotel really needs renovation and a lot could be then with the areay but the garden is boring and not well maintained. The hotel stresses how sustainable it is but it rather gives the impression to save cost in terms of personnel. The pools were not heated and could not be used during the entire stay (if 20 C is not nice for you). There was not enough space outside for the breakfast, sometimes one person only managing. The breakfast was okay but not 5 star level. Absolutely not acceptable: when sitting outside to the pool area, there is also a smoking corner directly next to all others. Children were sitting there too. All smoke was blown in this area and it was not possible to enjoy the breakfast. Personnel did not intervene and nobody ever was interested in the customer unfortunately which is unusual for this class of hotel. Rain was dropping through the veranda too. The beach is Limited but the sign to make reservations for sunbeads was a bit sad, I dont know if the guest has to pay this extra..if so, not acceptable. Overall rating would be maximum of 3 stars compared to international standard. A stay for a night is okay but I would have been super disappointed if stayed longer. The hotel has a lot to do and address.

Bar area ok for all inclusive, but if you was paying customer, not a great selection of drinks and not a quality of drinks and all the entertainment was down in there pool bar, which is not the most comfortable place to watch entertainment

My only issue was the Hotel's WiFi, which was really slow. The staff was nice and friendly. But overall, the hotel is great. The location of the hotel is only a 5 min walk to Kardamaina which has lots of food options.

We enjoyed our stay, was very short unfortunately. Very nice room. If you go to Kos I would recommend to stay. 🙌👌

The quiet pool was excellent with Gazebo pods to feel you had privacy. The customer service was superb any issue was resolved very quickly. On criticism would be the WiFi, started off ok but deteriorated over 10 days, unsuitable for any sort of streaming.

Nice hotel with lovely rooms and great sea views and pools. Convenient for the local town with beaches and plenty of restaurants and shops. Only downfall is the small beach and the steep hill the hotel is built on which is not ideal for the less fit or disabled. We had bed and breakfast only. A lovely stay.

Very nice swimming pools and room.

Perfect for a 7day stay. Very accommodating staff! Had superior room for two. Spacy, clean and a brilliant view to the sea. What I really enjoyed was the spacy Pools areas superb, from quiet to vivid. Would book it again and will recommend to fam and friends. Shopping and Bars are about 15 min walk. Beach, rught at the resort. Pebbles not sand. Honestly, from my perspective not very pleasant. OK to swim or snorkel in the sea. I personally highly enjoyed the pool areas. Lowlight, the resort is built an a slope. So you always go up or downhill. But… Highlight is the resort pick-up service. A short call, driver comes mostly within 5min and brings you to any place within the resort ;-) !

Beautiful location and rooms. The food was not good.

Bella struttura, e ben manutenuta, completa di tutti i servizi, personale disponibile e gentile, bella vista sul mare e molto vicina al centro di kardamena raggiungibile a piedi in pochi minuti. Secondo me gli aspetti negativi sono: 1) Il resort si sviluppa su una collina e le 3 piscine, i ristoranti, la reception e i vari fabbricati con le camere risultano tra loro collegati da stradine interne molto gradevoli ma purtroppo in salita e discesa per cui gli spostamenti interni sono faticosi e il servizio messo a disposizione dall'hotel con le macchine elettriche a chiamata non risolve il problema; 2) La colazione viene servita soltanto nel ristorante principale nella zona alta del resort per cui ogni mattina bisogna farsi una bella sudata se si ha la camera nella parte bassa. I prodotti per la colazione pur essendo varia e abbondante non è stata di mio gradimento; 3) Le piscine sono 3 ma una di esse ha delle cabanas coperte con un pergolato fisso che non fa quasi mai ombra sui lettini sottostanti per cui per la maggior parte della giornata non si può avere ombra. Nelle altre due piscine invece vige impunita l'odiosa regola del mettere l'asciugamano sui lettini alla mattina molto presto per occuparli prima ancora di averne bisogno mentre gli altri ospiti vanno a fare colazione e anche durante l'arco della giornata stessa storia.. lettini occupati da asciugamani e qualche oggetto personale per occuparli ma nessuno in piscina. Il personale dell'hotel dovrebbe intervenire.

Property pools are nice and the view from the hotel is Amazon. The rooms are big but a little outdated. The worse part is the quality od the food provided. Not only is it quite limited, but also the food itself is not good and of a very poor quality. All inclusive is not worth it, ended up eating on the city for lunch and dinner more than half of my stay.

Das Hotel liegt auf einem Hügel für ältere Leute ohne buggy nicht möglich Die Zimmer werden alle zweiten Tag gereinigt Da das alles uns nicht bekannt war, sind wir nach zwei Tagen dort ausgereist und haben keine Erstattung bekommen Um den Strand zu erreichen, muss meinen ersten befahrene Straße überqueren
