Lovely hotel in an excellent location, the room is small but has everything you need for a short break . The shower was really small so larger people may struggle in there but the water pressure was great and a lovely rain shower too. We booked a sea view room which as we were on the 1st floor this was only if you looked to the side , the balcony is also small but we still really enjoyed our stay, as we were only there 2 nights we didn’t ask for a different room.

The property was fine and clean. Parking in this area this time of a year is difficult. I booked a compact room and that’s what it was. Bedroom was fine but bathroom and shower were very small.Staff especially front desk are very polite and accommodating.Have stayed here many times and never disappointed. Breakfast is always good ❤️🇬🇷

What a lovely hotel. It was perfectly placed for our 2 day visit to Argostoli as everything was so close. The room was a great size for the 3 of us and the bed was extremely comfy. We had a beautiful sea view from the large balcony, which had 3 sun beds, as well as a table and 2 chairs. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. We had a busy day exploring the capital and its surroundings and finished off with a couple of hours on the roof top terrace, a real hidden gem!

The cleanliness of the whole hotel was very good, with the rooms being well cleaned every day. The general state of fittings & maintenance was also good, with a nice comfy bed, The hotel roof bar has a good view, but is prohibitively expensive, we didn't see one single drink sold in two weeks, (the miserable bar girls attitude won't have helped). The surrounding area is very noisy with youngsters shouting & engine revving until the early hours of morning. The biggest problem with this hotel is the surly, miserable staff, who appear to hate the guests. In two weeks, the only member of staff to even smile, acknowledge us, or say good morning was the room cleaning lady.

The hotel was very dirty, we noticed a lot of ants in the room and there was a huge cockroach running around the bathroom while our child was talking a shower. We had to pack all the bags at 10 pm and book a different hotel since the cleanness of the Mouikis hotel was unacceptable. Even though we did not stay at the hotel and ruined our evening, Thanasis Mauikis (the owner of the place) did not offer a refund and thought this was acceptable.

Nos colocaram em um quarto em que o Box de banho estava quebrado, fazendo transbordar água para o banheiro, que por sinal, era minúsculo. Reclamamos já no primeiro dia, mas no dia seguinte nada foi feito para melhorar nossa situação, porque era domingo e a ilha é pequena. No final do domingo, voltei a reclamar porque ninguém nos havia avisado se nosso problema estava solucionado ou não. Fora isso, nosso ar condicionado não estava funcionando adequadamente, e a recepcionista nos deu uma chave a mais para deixar testando durante o dia, enquanto estávamos fora. Ao retornarmos da praia, avisamos que o ar continuava não funcionando. E ela brigou conosco, sendo extremamente mal educada, dizendo que nós não tínhamos avisado sobre isso (nós tínhamos sim, e a ideia de deixar uma chave extra no quarto testando inclusive foi dela). Extremamente grossa e pouco resolutiva. No dia seguinte, um homem que aparentemente era o dono do hotel nos bem atendeu e nos colocou em um quarto diferente e maior. O quarto, no entanto, dividia uma porta com outro, em que estava hospedada uma família com um recém nascido… nossas noites de sono foram terríveis: as primeiras, com muito calor e com ar não funcionando no quarto, as duas últimas com um bebê chorando a noite toda. Fora isso, o café da manhã era espetacular, e a localização também… se não fossem esses inconvenientes e a má educação da recepcionista, nossa avaliação teria sido melhor.

Het hotel is schoon. Het is een hotel gebouwd in 1981. De badkamer is klein, maar dan ook echt klein. De douche te klein om goed te kunnen douchen. Maar verder geen opmerkingen daarover. Het ontbijt genoeg keuze, alleen de koffie is ronduit slecht, oploskoffie. Dat verwacht je niet in een hotel met zo een kamerprijs!

The location was terrific, right in the heart of Argostoli. We could walk everywhere. The rooftop terrace bar had great views. The room was quiet and comfortable. The shower stall is very small, but that's not unusual in European hotels. Check in was less than 2 minutes. Breakfast was delicious and there were many options available.

We had a corner 3d floor room with a great view and a massive terrace. Constructive criticism will be: the room needs additional lighting (a floor lamp will help) and the small TV mounted on the wall by the balcony door was an obstacle as a corner of it protrudes. After hitting it twice with my head (going in and out of the terrace) I learned what to do.

We had a lovely stay here. It's easy walking distance to shops and restaurants, and overlooks the harbour so from our room we had a lovely view. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and more helpful. They helped us book a tour to Fiskardo at short notice, and were always there with a friendly smile. The rooms were immaculately clean, with towels and bathrobes, although the shower didn't allow much room for manoeuvre! The roof bar is a bonus - a lovely place to relax and read a book. There's a bit of rebuilding going on in some areas of the city, but overall it's a wonderful place to stay.

The room was smaller than I had previously and the shower recess was quite small (luckily I’m not so big as it would have been an issue). There was also a flying insect of some sort in and around the bathroom (I understand that this is not controllable by the hotel). There was a group of young people and when they were checking out they left their luggage just outside the lift door which was very inconvenient. The main reason I gave just average recommendations this time was because of the breakfast kitchen helper NOT THE LADY WHO WAS COOKING. When I asked for a take away breakfast she just ignored me and kept staring at me like I was a criminal. I eventually approached the lady cooking and her attitude was totally different. She advised me that they don’t have any containers but offered aluminium foil which I accepted. To me that is customer service going above and beyond. This lady is an asset to the hotel. If I was to return to Kefalonia I would recommend Mouikis Hotel. Also Thank you for the complimentary bottle of wine.

The cleanliness of the whole hotel was very good, with the rooms being well cleaned every day. The general state of fittings & maintenance was also good, with a nice comfy bed, The hotel roof bar has a good view, but is prohibitively expensive, we didn't see one single drink sold in two weeks, (the miserable bar girls attitude won't have helped). The surrounding area is very noisy with youngsters shouting & engine revving until the early hours of morning. The biggest problem with this hotel is the surly, miserable staff, who appear to hate the guests. In two weeks, the only member of staff to even smile, acknowledge us, or say good morning was the room cleaning lady.

The hotel was very dirty, we noticed a lot of ants in the room and there was a huge cockroach running around the bathroom while our child was talking a shower. We had to pack all the bags at 10 pm and book a different hotel since the cleanness of the Mouikis hotel was unacceptable. Even though we did not stay at the hotel and ruined our evening, Thanasis Mauikis (the owner of the place) did not offer a refund and thought this was acceptable.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location, the room is small but has everything you need for a short break . The shower was really small so larger people may struggle in there but the water pressure was great and a lovely rain shower too. We booked a sea view room which as we were on the 1st floor this was only if you looked to the side , the balcony is also small but we still really enjoyed our stay, as we were only there 2 nights we didn’t ask for a different room.

Nos colocaram em um quarto em que o Box de banho estava quebrado, fazendo transbordar água para o banheiro, que por sinal, era minúsculo. Reclamamos já no primeiro dia, mas no dia seguinte nada foi feito para melhorar nossa situação, porque era domingo e a ilha é pequena. No final do domingo, voltei a reclamar porque ninguém nos havia avisado se nosso problema estava solucionado ou não. Fora isso, nosso ar condicionado não estava funcionando adequadamente, e a recepcionista nos deu uma chave a mais para deixar testando durante o dia, enquanto estávamos fora. Ao retornarmos da praia, avisamos que o ar continuava não funcionando. E ela brigou conosco, sendo extremamente mal educada, dizendo que nós não tínhamos avisado sobre isso (nós tínhamos sim, e a ideia de deixar uma chave extra no quarto testando inclusive foi dela). Extremamente grossa e pouco resolutiva. No dia seguinte, um homem que aparentemente era o dono do hotel nos bem atendeu e nos colocou em um quarto diferente e maior. O quarto, no entanto, dividia uma porta com outro, em que estava hospedada uma família com um recém nascido… nossas noites de sono foram terríveis: as primeiras, com muito calor e com ar não funcionando no quarto, as duas últimas com um bebê chorando a noite toda. Fora isso, o café da manhã era espetacular, e a localização também… se não fossem esses inconvenientes e a má educação da recepcionista, nossa avaliação teria sido melhor.

The property was fine and clean. Parking in this area this time of a year is difficult. I booked a compact room and that’s what it was. Bedroom was fine but bathroom and shower were very small.Staff especially front desk are very polite and accommodating.Have stayed here many times and never disappointed. Breakfast is always good ❤️🇬🇷

What a lovely hotel. It was perfectly placed for our 2 day visit to Argostoli as everything was so close. The room was a great size for the 3 of us and the bed was extremely comfy. We had a beautiful sea view from the large balcony, which had 3 sun beds, as well as a table and 2 chairs. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. We had a busy day exploring the capital and its surroundings and finished off with a couple of hours on the roof top terrace, a real hidden gem!

Het hotel is schoon. Het is een hotel gebouwd in 1981. De badkamer is klein, maar dan ook echt klein. De douche te klein om goed te kunnen douchen. Maar verder geen opmerkingen daarover. Het ontbijt genoeg keuze, alleen de koffie is ronduit slecht, oploskoffie. Dat verwacht je niet in een hotel met zo een kamerprijs!

The location was terrific, right in the heart of Argostoli. We could walk everywhere. The rooftop terrace bar had great views. The room was quiet and comfortable. The shower stall is very small, but that's not unusual in European hotels. Check in was less than 2 minutes. Breakfast was delicious and there were many options available.

We had a corner 3d floor room with a great view and a massive terrace. Constructive criticism will be: the room needs additional lighting (a floor lamp will help) and the small TV mounted on the wall by the balcony door was an obstacle as a corner of it protrudes. After hitting it twice with my head (going in and out of the terrace) I learned what to do.

We had a lovely stay here. It's easy walking distance to shops and restaurants, and overlooks the harbour so from our room we had a lovely view. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and more helpful. They helped us book a tour to Fiskardo at short notice, and were always there with a friendly smile. The rooms were immaculately clean, with towels and bathrobes, although the shower didn't allow much room for manoeuvre! The roof bar is a bonus - a lovely place to relax and read a book. There's a bit of rebuilding going on in some areas of the city, but overall it's a wonderful place to stay.
