The rooftop pool at this property is why you need to stay here. The heat in Athens can be relentless and this very trendy hotel about 10 mins walk from centre of Athens is a great find.
The rooms are small but they are as advertised and were modern and light and airy.
The staff at the front desk are so helpful and accomodating and breakfast was served in the lobby downstairs that had a good vibe.
I sort of liked that it was away from the craziness of a few streets away and anticipate this area will become up and coming in future years.

This was a fabulous stay. An upscale backpacker with a great vibe. Great breakfast, music in the evenings and our room (301) had a great view of the acropolis from our deck. A great roof to pool. Easily walkable to most sites.

This hotel deserves more stars. Our experience was worthy of a 5 star hotel. Clean, new, modern, practical, staff are great, rooms are nice and big. Our stay in Athens was made more beautiful and enjoyable thanks to the help of the staff there. Recommend anyone who wishes to travel worry-free in a nice and classy atmosphere.

A very warm welcome by Elida, one of the receptionists, made us feel immediately comfortable at Okupa. Everything was as we expected - clean, comfortable, quiet. The DJ music on the Saturday night was relatively quiet background music in the main bar area, rather than filling the hotel, and we didn't hear it in our bedroom. The rooftop pool was a highlight!

Hôtel très joli et très propre. Personnel adorable et très à l’écoute. Piscine très agréable. De plus l’hôtel est très bien placé afin de pouvoir déambuler dans le quartier historique. Allez y les yeux fermés !!!! Chaude recommandation.

Family of 4. Private room with 2 bunk beds (4 beds) fans private bathroom. Clean. Safe. Pool up stairs. A/c controlled I in room. Upscale backpacker hotel. We easily walked from hotel to all meals and acropolis. You do walk past some lesser developed parks but otherwise great!

Magnifique hôtel très bien décoré et propre. Bien situé, à quelques minutes de marches de plusieurs restaurants et boutiques. Pendant la canicule, nous avons beaucoup apprécié la piscine sur le toit. Le seul petit point à améliorer serait d’ajouter plus de parasols, ils étaient très convoités avec la chaleur extrême.

La déco de l’hôtel est super sympa et la terrasse est waouh ! La piscine en Rooftop très appréciable pour se rafraîchir après une longue journée de marche sous la canicule !
Il y a une kitchenette ouverte à tous qui est très fonctionnelle et propre, avec un coin-repas, des produits en libre-service et un grand frigo partagé, car il est interdit de manger dans la chambre. D’ailleurs, il n’y avait pas de table ni de chaises dans la nôtre. On trouve des fontaines d’eau fraîche dans les couloirs, parfait pour remplir les bouteilles isothermes.
Nous avions réservé une chambre avec 4 dortoirs et sa salle de bain privée, exiguë mais très fonctionnelle et propre.
L’Hotel est bien situé, proche des principales attractions de la ville mais loin du bruit.
Petit bémol sur le petit dej servi au restaurant. Peu de choix, pas de réassort régulier. Une cafetière type nespresso avec dosettes mise à disposition mais pas pratique (il faut demander pour remplir le réservoir d’eau qui se vide rapidement et vider le collecteur de capsules qui se remplit vite, vu le nombre d’utilisateurs). Pas de chocolat chaud ni de cappuccino possibles. Mais les œufs sont préparés à la demande par le cuisinier et sont très bons, puisque non réchauffés comme c’est souvent le cas dans un buffet.
Il n’y a pas de parking mais l’accueil nous a suggérés 3 parkings payants à proximité, mais malheureusement sans tarif préférentiel. Une piste d’amélioration peut-être ?
En tout cas, personnel aimable et souriant.

What really sets Okupa apart, though, is the exceptional hospitality. Katerina and the team were more thoughtful, caring, and service-minded than any 5-star hotel we’ve ever stayed at. From the first moment, the communication via WhatsApp was clear, warm, and helpful.
When our luggage got lost at Athens airport, Katerina and her colleagues went above and beyond to help us track it down — keeping us informed so we could relax and enjoy the city despite the inconvenience.
We felt truly welcomed and cared for. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!
The rooftop terrace is stunning and the pool nice and clean. We will for sure come back to stay at Okupa next time we visit Athens!

The hostal well served travelers on a budget. Several choices of shared rooms. Private bathroom in some rooms and even a balcony. Staff are very helpful welcoming residents.
I was impressed by the spaciousness, and usefulness in all common areas (library, reading room, computer cubicles, TV breakfast room, kitchen and rooftop pool) and luggage storage room. The building is quite new. The location is close to public buses to Athens attractions. And a 10 minute walk to Manastraki street (major tourist area) open markets, bars/cafes, restaurants, and brand names stores. Metro lines close by.
A vert comfortable stay. I would choose this hostal again.

ほぼホテルのドミトリー！値段だけのことはある。
とても清潔でおしゃれ。親切なスタッフ。
鍵はワッツアップ内でやりとりするのでワッツアップをDLしておいてください。
ロッカーも大きく、スーツケースも広げられるスペースに余裕がかなりあります。
ドミ内のバスルームに人が入っていても部屋の外のシャワーやトイレも使えるのでまた時間もなし。
無料のウォーターサーバーもあり。
キッチンも広く清潔で使いやすい！
ノマドワーカーには最適だと思います。みんなライブラリーでPC開いて作業。オンラインミーティングや通話も可能なら個室もありました。
他人のベッドのきしみ音が大きかったのと、上の段に寝ていると上の階のシャワーやトイレの水の音が聞こえる事が気になったが、
耳栓をしたら問題ないかと。
ホテルの建物の周りがグラフィティだらけなので夜中に帰宅の際は若干治安が不安。

The rooftop pool at this property is why you need to stay here. The heat in Athens can be relentless and this very trendy hotel about 10 mins walk from centre of Athens is a great find.
The rooms are small but they are as advertised and were modern and light and airy.
The staff at the front desk are so helpful and accomodating and breakfast was served in the lobby downstairs that had a good vibe.
I sort of liked that it was away from the craziness of a few streets away and anticipate this area will become up and coming in future years.

This was a fabulous stay. An upscale backpacker with a great vibe. Great breakfast, music in the evenings and our room (301) had a great view of the acropolis from our deck. A great roof to pool. Easily walkable to most sites.

This hotel deserves more stars. Our experience was worthy of a 5 star hotel. Clean, new, modern, practical, staff are great, rooms are nice and big. Our stay in Athens was made more beautiful and enjoyable thanks to the help of the staff there. Recommend anyone who wishes to travel worry-free in a nice and classy atmosphere.

A very warm welcome by Elida, one of the receptionists, made us feel immediately comfortable at Okupa. Everything was as we expected - clean, comfortable, quiet. The DJ music on the Saturday night was relatively quiet background music in the main bar area, rather than filling the hotel, and we didn't hear it in our bedroom. The rooftop pool was a highlight!

Hôtel très joli et très propre. Personnel adorable et très à l’écoute. Piscine très agréable. De plus l’hôtel est très bien placé afin de pouvoir déambuler dans le quartier historique. Allez y les yeux fermés !!!! Chaude recommandation.

Family of 4. Private room with 2 bunk beds (4 beds) fans private bathroom. Clean. Safe. Pool up stairs. A/c controlled I in room. Upscale backpacker hotel. We easily walked from hotel to all meals and acropolis. You do walk past some lesser developed parks but otherwise great!

Magnifique hôtel très bien décoré et propre. Bien situé, à quelques minutes de marches de plusieurs restaurants et boutiques. Pendant la canicule, nous avons beaucoup apprécié la piscine sur le toit. Le seul petit point à améliorer serait d’ajouter plus de parasols, ils étaient très convoités avec la chaleur extrême.

La déco de l’hôtel est super sympa et la terrasse est waouh ! La piscine en Rooftop très appréciable pour se rafraîchir après une longue journée de marche sous la canicule !
Il y a une kitchenette ouverte à tous qui est très fonctionnelle et propre, avec un coin-repas, des produits en libre-service et un grand frigo partagé, car il est interdit de manger dans la chambre. D’ailleurs, il n’y avait pas de table ni de chaises dans la nôtre. On trouve des fontaines d’eau fraîche dans les couloirs, parfait pour remplir les bouteilles isothermes.
Nous avions réservé une chambre avec 4 dortoirs et sa salle de bain privée, exiguë mais très fonctionnelle et propre.
L’Hotel est bien situé, proche des principales attractions de la ville mais loin du bruit.
Petit bémol sur le petit dej servi au restaurant. Peu de choix, pas de réassort régulier. Une cafetière type nespresso avec dosettes mise à disposition mais pas pratique (il faut demander pour remplir le réservoir d’eau qui se vide rapidement et vider le collecteur de capsules qui se remplit vite, vu le nombre d’utilisateurs). Pas de chocolat chaud ni de cappuccino possibles. Mais les œufs sont préparés à la demande par le cuisinier et sont très bons, puisque non réchauffés comme c’est souvent le cas dans un buffet.
Il n’y a pas de parking mais l’accueil nous a suggérés 3 parkings payants à proximité, mais malheureusement sans tarif préférentiel. Une piste d’amélioration peut-être ?
En tout cas, personnel aimable et souriant.

The rooftop terrace is stunning and the pool nice and clean. We will for sure come back to stay at Okupa next time we visit Athens!

The hostal well served travelers on a budget. Several choices of shared rooms. Private bathroom in some rooms and even a balcony. Staff are very helpful welcoming residents.
I was impressed by the spaciousness, and usefulness in all common areas (library, reading room, computer cubicles, TV breakfast room, kitchen and rooftop pool) and luggage storage room. The building is quite new. The location is close to public buses to Athens attractions. And a 10 minute walk to Manastraki street (major tourist area) open markets, bars/cafes, restaurants, and brand names stores. Metro lines close by.
A vert comfortable stay. I would choose this hostal again.

ほぼホテルのドミトリー！値段だけのことはある。
とても清潔でおしゃれ。親切なスタッフ。
鍵はワッツアップ内でやりとりするのでワッツアップをDLしておいてください。
ロッカーも大きく、スーツケースも広げられるスペースに余裕がかなりあります。
ドミ内のバスルームに人が入っていても部屋の外のシャワーやトイレも使えるのでまた時間もなし。
無料のウォーターサーバーもあり。
キッチンも広く清潔で使いやすい！
ノマドワーカーには最適だと思います。みんなライブラリーでPC開いて作業。オンラインミーティングや通話も可能なら個室もありました。
他人のベッドのきしみ音が大きかったのと、上の段に寝ていると上の階のシャワーやトイレの水の音が聞こえる事が気になったが、
耳栓をしたら問題ないかと。
ホテルの建物の周りがグラフィティだらけなので夜中に帰宅の際は若干治安が不安。
