Solimar Aquamarine Resort

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine de vacances en Crète. L’hôtel est idéalement situé, à seulement quelques minutes à pied de la mer. Le personnel est au top : accueillant, attentionné et toujours prêt à rendre service. Tout au long du séjour, ils ont été très arrangeants et aux petits soins. Nous sommes pleinement satisfaits et recommandons vivement cet établissement !

Très bien pour la piscine, les espaces extérieurs bien entretenus, la nourriture , le personnel du restaurant Pas bien pour l’accueil et le personnel de l’accueil, aucune information sur les activités aux alentours, pas d’indication sur les équipements et les services proposés par l’hôtel

We had an amazing stay! Everything was perfect — from the warm and welcoming staff to the excellent services provided throughout our visit. The hotel has two beautiful outdoor pools: one for children with fun water slides, and a large one for adults, ideal for relaxing and swimming. The breakfast and dinner buffet were also fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options every day. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a great hotel experience!

Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr sauber, gutes Essen (Qualität und Auswahl - vor Allem auch griechische Spezialitäten), ruhige Lage. Sehr empfehlenswert

På et 2 dages ophold. Hertil var det fint. Ville kede os med 7 dage da det ligger lidt langt væk fra by. Ligger ikke på stranden. Gode senge. Kedelig udsigt fra terrassen. Ville vælge havudsigt hvis muligt. Hyggelig rooftop bar. Prøvede ikke a la carte da der var optaget. Buffet er som en buffet og lokalet er meget “cafeteria agtigt” dejligt at sidde udenfor ved poolen i stedet. Pris og kvalitet passer sammen.

Although the staff was very nice helpful, and professional, the resort is in desperate need for maintenance. We also had to change room 3 times (on the basis of a disturbing noise in the first one) and every room we were given had severe maintenance issues. Our third one (246) also had a really bad sewage smell coming from the interior garden. Would not recommend.

Staff was great, accessible and very helpful! Good variety of food choices and good quality at breakfast and dinner, could be a bit better in terms of choice on the pool bar buffet and non alcoholic drinks for the All-inclusive. Children's swimming pool is awesome! Very good experience!!

The hotel was spotless clean and all of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, lots of choice for me as a vegetarian! Loved every minute of this holiday. Thanks.

Un hôtel magnifique pour un séjour inoubliable. Tout d’abord un grand merci à Maria G de la cuisine, Ervin et toute son équipe en cuisine et en salle, Areti à la réception ainsi que ses collègues, le personnel de ménage, le jeune barman à la piscine… Vous êtes au top et vous méritez que la direction sache que vous faites un travail génial ! Vacances magnifiques dans cet hôtel. Vous commencez par être accueilli chaleureusement à la réception, si vous arrivez à l’heure d’un repas ils vous inviterons à aller vous restaurer avant de vous accompagner à votre chambre. Pour ma part une chambre avec piscine privée en all inclusive. Chambre très spacieuse, piscine relativement grande, environ 1m40 de profondeur. Des transats, serviettes de piscine (changées tous les 2 jours). Des gâteaux de bienvenues, une bouteille pour ceux qui consomment de l’alcool, des bouteilles d’eau et le nécessaire pour café thé. Serviettes de bain, peignoirs et chaussons, kits coton tige disque démaquillant lime à ongles et un élastique à cheveux et une charlotte de douche. Vous trouverez 1 grand flacon de savon liquide pour les mains et 1 grand flacon de 2en1 gel douche/ shampoing. Petit point négatif la dessus, pas d’après shampoing ni crème hydratante comme il y a quelques années, veuillez a en ramener ou en acheter car on se dessèche rapidement la peau entre la piscine et le soleil… et les cheveux aussi ! Point négatif sur la sdb pour les portes. Sinon, je recommande vivement !!

The hotel is amazing, we had the all inclusive package and it’s was fantastic.

La chambre spacieuse et confortable avec une bonne literie de qualité, et la piscine privée de bonne dimension à l’abri des regards extérieurs. Repas de bonne qualité avec un grand choix. Le personnel à l’écoute et très sympathique. Adresse à conserver.

Idéalement situé entre La Canée (10/15min) et les activités à l’Ouest de la Crète (1h de Balos Beach et 1h30 d’Elafonisi). Les + : - amabilité du personnel - parking devant l’hôtel - grande piscine principale + piscine pour enfants séparée - prêt de serviettes de bain - petit déjeuner correct (pas exceptionnel mais suffisant) - chambre supérieure correcte - secteur calme Les -: - prix des chambres un peu cher pour la prestation (pendant notre séjour d’une semaine, nous avons été logés dans des hôtels moins cher avec autant de confort, voir plus) - nous avons pris la formule petite déjeuner. Si vous souhaitez prendre le buffet pour un midi seulement, c’est 15€ par personne : nous avons trouvé ça excessif pour le contenu du buffet, et avons préféré manger ailleurs.

Solimar kann ich nur empfehlen vom Service bis zur Rezeption, super nette hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter, sehr gutes Essen, auf die Hygiene wird gesondert geachtet. Augenscheinlich sah man ständig Mitarbeiter die desinfiziert haben. Die Kellner waren sehr gepflegt und höflich, man hat sich wohl gefühlt. Moderne und saubere Zimmer, modern gestaltes Buffet sind weitere Pluspunkte. Immer wieder gerne.

We booked a room with a private pool for one week. When we arrived they told us the airco had broken down 2 days ago... we were given an other room in an other hotel.

Hyväkuntoinen hotelli ja huone, hyvät palvelut (mm. ohjattuja liikuntatunteja), all inclusiven ruuat pääosin erittäin hyviä ja kattava valikoima. Hieman syrjässä suhteessa muihin palveluihin mutta meille tämä oli pääosin plussaa. Ranta ei ollut mukava mutta Hotellin uima-allasalue oli sitäkin parempi.

We were interested in upgrading our room for a private pool room since our room was directly facing the main pool, was kind of hard to enjoy the balcony when you can basically have a conversation with the people in the pool. We were told to come back every morning to ask, every morning the price changed and it was a little difficult to even find someone who could even check or do the room change for us really. The kids pool is basically useless since there’s kids jumping around the main pool anyway. The all inclusive breakfast is no where near greek food, was a Cuba buffet. Had to pay 3 euro for an espresso cause that’s not included. Finally I had enough and told them I wasn’t happy and I was checking out early, the AC was terrible, my fiancées asthma was acting up and there were ants in the room.... the manager didn’t even come see us, the girl at the front told me someone would call me. I never got a phone call! I even emailed the hotel to tell them how unpleasant my stay was and no one ever got back to me. They do not care. If you’re going for a nice greece trip, save yourself the disappointment.

It is not 2 bedroom. Bit soulless. Food was average.

In overall, good potentials but food to be improved. - Location: The hotel is in a safe area but too too calm and there is nothing to do around. It's important to have a car, not even restaurants or bars around. The beach is not the main attraction: too wild. Not really a nice area to stay. - Hotel services: from an external point of view, the hotel is pleasant to see. Certainly one of the best in the area. The room was big and clean. The reception was nice and trying to please us. The restaurant/canteen was not great unfortunately. They were always at our back trying to remove our plates and everything. Don't leave your table for 2sec... This was really annoying. Food: Unfortunately the food was not tasty at all. We do not recommend the all-in. The buffet was not extraordinary. But I guess this is typical of the region. We went to the hotel next door (5star - Asterion Hotel) and despite it is a 4 star Solimar aquamarine was by far much better.
