Very nice

I enjoyed the stay, staff friendly and helpful and everything exactly as stated. The breakfast staff particularly helpful and kept everything tidy and organised.

Small cabin, it's a boat hotel not a hotel. Expect ramp down to boat itself. Steep steps to upper rooms. Boat itself was clean, tidy and warm. Great river views over to parliament building at breakfast and room. Staff friendly and breakfast is great with great service.

Personal sehr nett! Frühstück auch sehr gut und ausreichend . Das Schiff an sich sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Riecht ein wenig modrig. Die Wände sind wie aus Papier Parkplatz eher Mangelware, aber wenn man Glück hat bekommt man einen. Aussicht am Deck auf Pest (Parlament) ist einmalig! Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind in der Nähe und alles sehr gut erreichbar Ich werde wieder buchen, denn der Preis passt und so eine Aussicht hat man in der Innenstadt nicht! Es wäre toll, wenn man eventuell Abendessen anbieten würde! Müsste nichts aufwändiges sein. Die ungarische Küche bietet so viele einfache Gerichte die aber himmlisch schmecken!

Very bad, It was a very bad experience, from the bad smell that greets you when you arrive at the hotel boat, then the space of the room is such that my wife has to leave for me to enter, the bathroom is horrible, you can't sleep with other people walking around... (that's disgusting)

Good, cozy woth charm and amazing location. Breakfast was prett standard so overall good. Property is dated, but very clean and staff is attentive. Yes i would book again.

I recently stayed at a boat hotel in Budapest, and while the experience had its positives, some aspects need attention. The service was commendable; the staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Breakfast was a highlight—complete and freshly prepared, making for a delightful start to the day. The area surrounding the hotel felt safe, and the views of the Hungarian Parliament from the hotel were simply gorgeous. However, the hotel itself requires significant updates. The carpets throughout the property appear worn and would benefit from replacement. Regarding my room, I found the decor to be outdated, particularly the headboard and wallpaper, which show signs of wear. The bathroom was functional but lacked modern amenities, especially concerning the shower system. After showering, the bathroom floor remained wet, and there was no squeegee available to help dry it. This made it inconvenient to use the bathroom at night, prompting the need to shower in the morning instead. Overall, while I appreciated the hospitality and enjoyed the breakfast, the hotel would greatly improve with some renovations and upgrades to enhance guest comfort.

Really cool stay - clean but outdated. Beautiful view of the parliament right over the water. Rooms are very small but it didn’t bother us! Shower was hot and had great pressure

I dont usually write negative reviews. However there are a couple of things that people should be aware of before booking this property. It says it is 3 stars however this not the case. The property is very old and not well maintained either. The room is very very small even by European and/or river cruise standards. The walls are so thin i could hear the neigbours sleep and snore The shower is over the toilet. If you book a river view room there is a walk way outside and ppl walk to smoke all the time and look in the room. Without the blinds open it is just a dark room The sheets are clean and the ok. The staff were very nice about refunding my remaining nights.

C'est une cabine très petite, sdb minuscule, on arrose tt qd on prend une douche, bon petit déjeuner , wifi transports à proximité ,par contre le parking est aléatoire, ils n'ont pas de places attitrées

A Boat Hotel on the River with an excellent view. What else do you need?

I’m sorry to say we really did not enjoy this boat hotel, we were booked into the sister boat, Grand Jules which we chose because of the location (opposite the Parliament building) as this would be a pleasant outlook. We were informed less than a week before our departure date End of May 25 the GJ had been closed for maintenance from Feb 25, giving us very little time to amend our booking. We sound the replacement boat not very well appointed, further from the amenities and would not be out choice if we had time to look. Another small point, the room curtains would not close completely so we could be see by anyone walking by, no breakfast tea in the restaurant and very small rooms. Sorry it just lacked the special holiday we had planned.

Location, floating on the Danube River, was fantastic. Wonderful views from our room facing the river. Fantastic views from top deck. Hungarian Parliament lit up at night was my favourite. Loved the breakfast with lots of variety. All staff very helpful. Only downside was the rooms are in need of a bit of tlc but was an awesome experience and would definitely stay again.

This boat hotel is located perfectly on the Danube river square in the middle of the city. You can easily and with a 2 minute walk access trams, busses and metros. The rooms are cozy with nice interior and has the best AC I have ever seen. Our stay was during a heat wave of 35 degrees C. Our room stayed well under 20. Nice personel and great late checkout service. Will never stay at a different hotel while in budapest.

Our second trip. Fabulous staff and a really good experience. Sitting on the back of the boat during the thunder storm was spectacular!

Location, location, location, apart from that no air con ,walls very thin thought my wife was up but it was next door😅, saying that clean towels

A hajó mindig tiszta. A legkondicionáló nem működött, és sajnos az ablakok közül csak az egyik nyitható, az is csak egy kicsit. A személyzet viszont nagyon kedves, minden kérésünket azonnal teljesítették. A Dunán, Parlamentre néző kilátással nincs másik ilyen jó szálláshely. A kabinok többsége kicsi, de tudomásul kell venni, hogy ez egy hajó. Sajnos éppen ezért parkolóhely sincs elég a parton hozzá.

Trivsamma hytter i detta båthotell. Nära till spårvagnshållplatser. Trevlig personal. Korta sängar. Spåvagnar på bron bullrade en hel del.
