Novotel Budapest Centrum

L’hotel si trova in un palazzo molto bello, la struttura è molto elegante e ben e pulita non si trova proprio in centro ma c’è la metro a dieci metri, camere pulite e spaziose, colazione varia e abbondante, personale molto cordiale.

Great Location, Stylish Ambience & Comfortable Stay First of all, I really appreciated the hotel’s central location. iIt made getting around the city super easy with metro, tram, and bus connections just steps away. The Art Deco-style restaurant was a highlight, especially during breakfast, It has a lovely setting with a great selection of delicious food. We also enjoyed our newly renovated room, which was not only stylish but had very comfortable beds, making for a restful stay.

Great location

The worst stay of my life. It was torture. I stayed there 3 years ago, the decor was dated then. Much improved now but the renovations we ongoing and directly above my floor. There was constant drilling from 11am such that one couldn't have a conversation or watch a movie with noise cancelling headphones. It was impossible to sleep during the day afyer being out all night. Only one lift worked by the end of the weekend. It would have been nice to message me before the booking with an option to cancel which i would. Breakfast was ok.

Quarto confortável e cama maravilhosa. Tivemos problemas com a fechadura do quarto e com o controle remoto da televisão. O atendimento poderia ser melhor. O café da manhã vale muito a pena, além do salão ser muito lindo, tinham várias opções.

Hotel localizado em região central, próximo a estações de metro.... Ponto negativo, o ar-condicionado (central) do quarto não estava funcionando.... mesmo num periodo frio, o quarto estava extremamente quente (precisamos abrir a janela para dormir - com isso muito barulho da rua....)

Super emplacement de l’hôtel avec un petit déjeuner au top. Dommage que la propreté n’a pas été au rdv. Je recommande quand meme cet hotel avec de tres bon receptionniste

Perfect

Convenient location, 1 minute from metro, trams and buses. A little noisy with traffic at the front of the hotel. Room was fine, just quite stuffy and dry air. Could use a bit of TLC. Didn't use the dining or other facilities so can't comment on those. Sauna was out of action when we were staying.

The property is undergoing renovation (I don’t recall being informed) this resulted in two gripes on my part. 1. The ‘Spa’ area was closed. 2. We (The British) were assigned rooms on the top floors the old dated rooms with chipped baths and tired grubby carpets while or so it appeared our European friends got the new rooms on the lower refurbished floors. Do we pay less ? Or are we just not bothered enough to complain when a friend did complain he was told fully booked which we knew to be untrue but how do you prove that ?!

So here’s the pros. Location is good . Close to the metro and is central to everything. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets close by. The service at the front desk is good . They are helpful and speak great English. My room was large and comfortable. The cons, the hotel is not well kept. It’s going through some renovations but the lobby, lift and some parts of it is run down and not well managed. The elevator took very long everyday to get downstairs. I don’t think I will stay there again. For the price of $120 I expected a little more for the name of Novotel .

The hotel is located at a very great location. It’s easy to access by public transport. The hotel is clean and very nice. The hotel restaurant is also amazing. Overall I would recommend and would love to stay at the property in future.

Great hotel to stay in Budapest

Staff at reception very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They gave us detailed instructions about how to get from A to B by metro, by train and by bus. The room was large and modern. The windows opened and we like that. The air conditioning can be easily controlled by the guest. The small fridge was empty, very convenient for us to put our own things.
