This was such an adorable cottage (cozy and inviting)! The bed was very comfortable and I loved that there were blackout curtains. The hot tub was ready when we arrived so we could step right in after a long day. I would definitely recommend staying here, I only wish my stay had been longer.

I loved our stay here. The cottage was so cozy, had everything needed, including coffee in the morning, and instructions to get there were clear. The only heads up I’d offer others booking is that the cottage is not located directly in Fludir, which it appears on the Expedia booking page. This wasn’t an issue for us, but it worth being aware of.

Anything this location lacks in luxury is made up for in the solitude and peacefulness of the property. The Private hot tub overlooking a horse and sheep pasture was a great addition. Visually isolated from the road and from all other nearby properties. About 10km outside of town gets you away from the other tourists. GPS did get us close, but the communications and directions provided by the host before our stay were clear and got us right to the property. This was our favorite stay in our 2 weeks in Iceland.

The hot tube was open air and due the rain no suitable, the outside area was not enough illuminated, the road to reach the place is very bad and the cottages are extremely remote. Coffe machine not present in the kitchen and instant coffe container already opened since undefined date.

Room is clean but only has 2 beds when I booked for 3 adults…leaving extra mattress and duvet on the floor… unacceptable… week internet connection and no TV when Expedia page showing 29’ TV…. What u paid is not what u get !!!

Cette cabane vous permet de vivre une expérience authentique au milieu des chevaux et des moutons. Décoration harmonieuse avec le lieu.
Kitchenette équipée qui permet d’être autonome.
Point à améliorer : l’odeur qui se dégage des évacuations d’eau.

Not perfect but ok for the price. The views were pleasant and it was nice and cosy in the property.
The soft furnishings had marks on (possibly paint), the bin hadn’t been emptied, and there were marks on the back of the bathroom door, which would’ve cleaned off.
WiFi was not good at all.
The sat Nav location took us down a gravelled lane. But host was able to direct us on the phone.

Property was not the cleanest with some mold in the shower, dirty couch and bedding. The instructions on how to get to the location were fine although the directions provided when clicking on the link on Expedia were wrong. The property sent out the email with instructions over a month in advance so they were lost although they did not make the instructions clear on which cabin we were supposed to stay in nor provide the lockbox combination.

We had a TINY bit of trouble finding the appropriate cabin, since we arrived after dark. But aside from that, it was a great stay. It would be helpful to have information on each cabin easily available. When we booked on Orbitz, some o the photos from other cabins weighed into our decision, and it wasn't entirely easy to determine which was the one we were booking. Also, it would be great to have detailed info on what each cabin features (we were somewhat surprised to have no TV and weren't entirely certain which appliances/amenities would be in the kitchen). But it worked out well, and the place was quite nice.
