We had a very enjoyable stay at this quiet and comfortable guesthouse with courteous hosts and all the comforts of home. The location is also very good, being just a few miles north of Asbyrgi and Dettifoss. I would highly recommend it.

Our rental car broke down. They were extremely accommodating and concerned. We needed to wait 8 hours for the new car to be trucked to the guesthouse.

The facilities are very clean and cosy. With all the indispensable services for one night. However, no direct contact with the staff and unfortunately no hot water in the morning for showering.

Isolé, au milieu de la végétation, très paisible. La guesthouse est tres bien organisée et équipée. Certaines chambres sont plus grandes que d’autres. Salles de bain propres et pratiques.

No frills, but it seemed clean and comfortable. The bathrooms on one end are newly redone and and were clean and nice. It was hard to get a toilet/shower in the evening since a large group all arrived at the same time as we did. Many people waiting in line.
We arrived later, so did not meet the owners, but they left a room key for us.
We had use of a kitchen and storage in the refrigerator.
