Clarks Exotica Convention, Resort & Spa

The property seems quite old and has not been updated. Maybe they put us in the older part of the hotel. Room was ok ish, however the bathroom was terrible. Things were broken, mould patches in some places. My colleague has brown water coming out of the sink tap. Hotel location itself is good, however be prepared to hear the airplane flying right over and quite loud. Breakfast was mediocre.

Booked Clarks Exotica 2 bedroom suite for a one night stay. Stay was ok with good ambience. Food was good with lot of options. Location is quite nature friendly.

A short stay overnight. The associated restaurant served us a good evening meal. The hotel is close to Bangalore Airport, which is why we chose it.

Beautiful and spacious rooms. We stayed just one night, so didnt get to use the amenities, but the restaurant was good. Clean, friendly staff, and lots of services available (laundry, dry cleaning, and printing were ones that mattered to me).

Stayed here recently for a night the place to be tidy and very well kept. The staff both at the reception and reservation desks where very friendly and professional and took good of the numerous short travel arrangements I required. Definitely staying here the next time I am in town

This is an unusual property as it is more a convention centre than a hotel. It is very spread out and requires a drive through back streets to get to. That said, it is quite close to the airport, and they have plenty of vehicles. Their buffets were fabulous, among the best I have had. The rooms were clean and spacious. We stayed one night in a 2 BR suite, which was like an apartment with a kitchen area complete with fridge and stove. However there were no pots to use the stove and there was no water running in the kitchen skin. In terms of staff, they were mostly friendly and helpful but there were some issues. My wife and son flew in separately from me and, while I was picked up promptly, they were waiting over an hour, all the while talking but failing to communicat with the staff over what the problem was. The day we left we ate breakfast at 9, signed to our room and told the desk we'd be checking out at noon. When I was at the airport I got a call saying the breakfast charge had not been included in the bill. I then spent much of the next day trying to figure out how to electronically transfer money to them. All in all this is a great place for a long stay or a large group or - as we were doing - for an overnight, but if you were in BLR for a few days and wanted to see the city it would be rather out of the way.

This is a nice hotel in Bangalore that double charged my credit card and has yet to resolve their error. None of my emails have been returned. My recommendation is to stay at another property.

A quiet and serene area away from the madding crowd of the city. A nice place for rejuvenation.

For being rated 5-star bathroom sure was not upto standard. Bad stinch throughout stay even after reporting to front desk. Balcony and exit area was also not maintained. There are no snacks or vending machines for kids. Rely mostly on restaurant food.
