Very peaceful and lovely staff. Bathrooms were quiet dirty however. Would stay here again!

Everything just perfect.

A great location on Agonda beach and a basic room with ceiling fan and outside bathroom, which just basically means there is no roof. Food was good as was the service from the friendly and helpful staff. My reason for marking down on the comfort is due to the nightly dog barking/howling, which seems to affect the whole agonda area so not just isolated to this hotel. There are alot of stray dogs and during the day, no problem but at night typically every night between 3am to 4am all the dogs start to bark and howl, I've never encountered anything like it! Also we're not talking about 3 or 4 dogs, from the sounds of it I'd say 20 - 30 dogs if not more! And it goes on for anything from 30 mins to 1 hour. Even with ear plugs in the noise is an issue making a good night sleep virtually impossible unless you're a heavy sleeper. The area really needs to do something about this, I don't know what can be done but it's very frustrating and annoying for tourists, locals may have got used to it but if you're here on holiday for a few days it could be an ussue. I've stayed the week before in the north of Goa and although plenty of stray dogs, they didn't bark and howl at night like these dogs. Personally because of that I would not come back to Agonda Beach!

Mycket trevligt boende. Härlig personal god mat och fin service. Några rum med utsikt mot havet. Inte mycket av hög musik på kvällar vilket vi uppskattade, dock när det var lite fest så var det god stämning med mycket musik. Vi kunde hyra både moppe och en Bullit 500 på plats. Kanon. Nära till bygata med bra variation på matställen.

Very good value for money. Stayed in the AC room which is a house and not a hut. Big difference. The huts are nice when the weather is good, since it’s semi open walls but we had some bad weather and the AC room (in a concrete house) saved us :). Location is very far up the beach and some of the best restaurants is a 20-30 min walk. Which we liked given that was our only exercise... restaurant was ok/good but there’s really good food at the mid-south part of the beach. All in all really good value for the money and very friendly staff.

This property is in a great location at the quiet end of the beach . The staff is friendly and helpful and the food we had at the restaurant was excellent. Our time on the beach was shared only with some cows and dogs , hardly any people ! We had a beach view cabin and loved falling asleep to the waves every night. The dogs are very loud at night up and down the whole beach but are very friendly - bring earplugs !

GREAT place to stay in Agonda. Staff, food, drinks, location - ALL PERFECT! Will definitely stay here again.

Ich hatte dort dummerweise 21 Tage im Voraus gebucht, habe mich jedoch dermaßen unwohl gefühlt, dass ich bereits nach 11 Tagen weitergereist bin. Die Unterkunft hat kein Süßwasser!!!, für's Duschen, Zähneputzen, Wäsche durchwaschen steht nur Salzwasser zur Verfügung. Das Restaurant ist im Vergleich zu denen der Umgebung unterdurchschnittlich und ich habe dort nach mehreren schlechten Erfahrungen nur noch Getränke gekauft. Die Sonnenliegen waren marode und die meisten Sonnenschirme waren kaputt. Das schlimmste war für mich jedoch die übertriebene Lautstärke von Bar/Restaurant und Umgebung. Es gab fast permanent laut dröhnende Musik bis oft nach Mitternacht. In Ruhe ein Buch lesen und dem Ozean lauschen, Fehlanzeige! Ruhig und ungestört schlafen, konnte man auch vergessen. Ich kann diese Unterkunft leider nicht weiterempfehlen!

The location is perfect and the view from our beach front hut was idyllic. The food was very good and the staff all very friendly. The hut is basic as you would expect but very comfortable. The only downside is the constant barking of the dogs on the beach at night although there is nothing the Hotel can do to stop this.

Back to basics in the accommodation, exactly what we were looking for. Staff so friendly and helpful.

Such an amazing place with some of the friendliest people I have ever met, felt like we were saying goodbye to friends after just staying for four days.

Ett enkel, prisvärt ställe med bra service. Personalen supertrevliga, maten var god o närheten till beachen var suverän. Kan rekommendera detta ställle om man gillar att ta det lugnt.

Absolutely brilliant stay. Nothing better than stepping out of your room, onto the sand and into the sea. I travelled on my own and didn’t feel lonely for one second.

The staff in the restaurant make your stay memorable. The food is excellent and always served with a smile by Amir and Rudi. You are known by your Christian name throughout your stay which is a lovely touch and makes you want to return. The fresh fish dishes are really good and very good value. The accommodation is a typical basic Goan shack and took a bit of getting used to however, being able to go to sleep every night hearing the waves crashing on the shore certainly made up for the basic facilities. Duck n Chill is at the northern end of Agonda beach and is very quiet. The beach is very clean and is cleaned daily in the afternoon and you are not disturbed by any beach sellers which makes it very relaxing. The accommodation will organise an airport pickup and return which is very reasonable and very reliable. We had a very relaxing 8 day stay in one of 6 shacks in the main part behind the restaurant and would think about returning again.

Our stay was one we will never forget ,what an experience right on the beach ,great great staff complete relaxation we will never forget .Back next season

Wir waren zu zweit 6 Nächte in dieser Unterkunft und auch das letzte Mal. Reinigung der Zimmer erfolgt nicht selbstständig sondern wie wir erfahren haben erst nach Aufforderung und Nachfrage. Die Kommunikation mit den Angestellten war schwierig. 2 mal konnte auf Essenswünsche nicht reagiert werden, die aber möglich gewesen wären. Wir hatten ein Open Air Bad, was bei Gewitter und Stromausfall nicht so optimal ist. Das Wasser im Bad ist Meerwasser und es roch übel aus dem Waschbecken. Viele Mitarbeiter haben das Grüßen verlernt oder nie gekonnt. Der Service allgemein war zu langsam. Die Lage und die Aussicht sind top, darüber konnten wir uns nicht beschweren. Nette Hunde und Kühe am Strand. Links und rechts der Unterkunft stehen weitaus bessere Strandhütten die wir das nächste mal eher bevorzugen würden. Wunderbar der Flughundebaum neben der Einrichtung der jeden Abend gegen 19 Uhr umkreist und besetzt wird.
