Hotel Amritsar International

Dirty washrooms and linens. No hot water. Need multiple calls to get any service

Comfortable and clean, walkable, close to Golden Temple. Included breakfast was quite nice.

According to price rooms are not that comfortable. Washrooms are small. Drainage system are not functioning properly.

The hotel is tucked away by Amritsar bus station. The surrounding streets are in a poor condition, however the hotel is very modern. The staff checked us in efficiently and the room was cleaned and ready to a very good standard. It is a 25 minute walk to the Golden Temple Complex or a 5 min rickshaw journey. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable, however the door does not keep out the noise from the hallway which is loud as people walk by or open and close doors. The bathroom was clean; there is no bath just a shower area which also has a bucket and a jug. At 5am there was little to no hot water. Breakfast was not on that early, however the staff did make an effort by sending toast, sandwiches and tea to our room at 6am. Overall I would stay there again but only for a couple of nights at the most.

the hotel room did not have a heater. the hotel did not accept credit card for the booking and i have to go out to look for atm for cash payment.
