Hotel Elegance New Delhi Railway

lol Elegance? Don’t be fooled. The pictures tell a decent story, but our room was run down, the option for our 13 year old was a dusty matress. Sure, it was $60nzd per night, but the drilling from the building next door, the concrete dust, the smoke and the mess, I’d have paid a maximum of $30. Staff were making furniture in the lobby, clever for sure - I couldn’t make a sofa from scratch, but honestly, do that somewhere else! We bailed after three nights - give us credit for sticking it out, and we’re refunded for the last night. We spent the final night at Bloom hotel down the road.

I had a double room on the 2nd floor, at the front of the hotel. It had efficient air conditioning and a very good bathroom. The bed was comfortable and there was a secure lock on the door. Lighting reasonable although the area near the wardrobe was very dark. Fridge and electric kettle supplied. Breakfast was served in the room and arrived around 20 minutes after being ordered by phone. When I got back to the hotel after a long day sightseeing in Delhi, I was surprised and disappointed to find that not only had the room not been cleaned but the breakfast tray, dirty plates etc were still in the room. This happened for 3 days running, despite leaving the "please make up my room" sign on the door handle on 2 days.

Ett bra budget hotell för en ett bra pris. Bra läge på en gata med ett flertal hotell. Rummet hade dålig luftkonditionering samt hade ett smutsigt golv.

They did a nice job with the photos because it looks nicer than it was. No hot water, electrical outlets didnt work. Bath towels were dirty. It's the kind of place that makes you itchy when you get into bed each night. 3star has a different meaning in India. On the positive side, staff was friendly and worked hard to make me comfortable despite not being able to do so. It was weird seeing the staff sleeping in the open throughout the night. Concierge was on the floor behind his desk and bell boys were sleeping in the stairwell. Not a problem but was unfamiliar to me. Wifi was good throughout.

big mistake for me to choose this hotel and I paid so much money ! Absolutely a waste! 1st they gave me non-cleaned room! then I had to claim for new room at 1 am in the night. No water, No towels in the room. In the morning BF took more than 20-30 min after ordered. Really hopeless. Avoid choosing it.

Good hotel with all facilities. As it is still under construction , there are some noise at times. I stayed at the executive room, which was a bit small to my expectation.

I wanted to like the hotel. The staff was welcoming and nice, but unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. The night I came neither the TV, the wifi or my keycard would work. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom and no hot water... Wouldn't recommend it.

The property is relatively new, but as many times in India, it is already starting to become dirty and worn out (stains on the wall, some things hanging/not working). A better cleaning of floor/walls would really help, now there was a cigarette thumb on the bathroom floor etc. I wish they would scrub the rooms with same intensity as they do the front reception/lobby. The service was friendly and helpful! Next time would try the new Bloomrooms, whose location is great and at least the bakery there was great!

if u want to stay with reasonable price only without any request,the hotel will be acceptable.

They are very nice which makes up for a lot Had trouble with taxi getting me there Need to stress the proximity to New Delhi station. Good if you want to be close to bazaar The neighborhood is not for the faint at heart but the people at hotel are superb

I stayed there for a night, the hotel is really nice, the rooms are clean and the bed is comfy. The only problem was the neighborhood, a bit messy and dirty, nothing to see around there.

I had a very good experience staying in this hotel.. There were few issue with wifi but the rest was good.

Stay was just ok. The hotel is in a grungy area of Delhi, near the New Delhi train station. I don't recommend staying in this area, it is full of cheap, touristy hotels and is a little scary (I was a solo female traveler). My room was clean-ish but should have been much cleaner for what I paid a night. There was no hot water the 2nd morning of my stay. The hotel is very modern in design but is falling apart (cracked mirrors, chipped wooden furniture). The photos on the website are true but dated. Wifi was a trickle in my 3rd floor room. The bed was comfortable and my room had a/c and a good tv. Cool shower and sink although the shower was pretty dirty (water spots on the shower glass and lots of hair in the drain). The staff was very nice and I enjoyed the room service breakfasts.
