Hotel Golden Residency

The best thing about this room was free WiFi . Also air conditioning, tv - but couldn’t always get it on . Offered a free hot breakfast but didn’t include fresh fruit or juice for those wanting something simple. The whole room was about the size of a bathroom. Fitting one double bed only and a separate room with a toilet and shower directly above the toilet . The room was not cleaned during my stay. Should not be ranked a three star hotel. Bottled water was not complementary .

I was in Mumbai to cover the visit of Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu to India and wanted to be somewhere close to sea before moving to south Mumbai, where the events were held. Hence stayed here. Good neighborhood. Small but comfortable room. Specially impressed with the manager, Mr. Roy, who went out of his way to make my stay a memorable. In fact, after I checked out, realized that I had forgotten my winter coat behind. Usually its difficult to get such articles back from small hotels, but he had kept it aside. Proud of him.

I found that the hotel is not worth Rs 2000 that I paid for a night’s stay in this hotel for following reasons 1. Room was very small 2. Towels and Soaps were not the provided until when I specifically asked Travelers can find better hotels for same amount
