Hotel Hampi International

The room was good, but the Wi-Fi wasn’t working, which was quite disappointing. The car parking area is open with no shelter, so the car would be exposed to rain. Additionally, one of the plug points in the washroom was broken.

Terrible place. Lights and ac off in lobby when I arrived. It was terriblely hot outside. Has to change rooms at 3am because of mosquitos and bugs. The new room had dirty bed sheets. I had to compromise. Had to wake up staff who were not answering calls at 3am.

Check in was poor. Poor breakfast food choices.

The property was ill maintained. The door bell did not work, the exhaust in the bathroom did not work, the fridge in the room did not work and the staff showed no inclination to fix it. High price paid for a pathetic experience.

Several cockroaches in the room. No towels were given. We had to ask few times to get the same. Only 1 litre water was given on the checkin day. Next 2 days we got none, asked few times to get the same. TV was not working at all, staff could not help. Toilet is quite old, needs to be overhauled. Breakfast was good, dining was also good.

The hotel breakfast menu was amazing, lots of variety and the food tasted great. The hotel service needs to be improved. Rs. 5500/night seemed expensive for the quality of service offered.

Extremely disorganised. Staff is unable to handle the rush. Took 15 mins to get a Menu and nearly 40 mins for the food to show up. Considering that the Hotel is surviving on Visitors for Hampi / TB DAM, they had extremely poor help desk and no organised service for tours.

Comfortable stay for the most part. Here's some feedback: 1. South Indian breakfast/food was quite disappointing considering it's a restaurant in Karnataka. Taste and texture needs to improve drastically 2. Keypads on the room phone didn't work. Couldn't call housekeeping. 3. Check out took 10+minutes.

Good early check-in. Was leaving too early for breakfast the next day, so the receptionist offered to arrange some form of breakfast to take away - this never happened. Nice big clean room (friendly cleaners do amgood job), bathroom a bit ropey (no extractor fan, broken tiles, ugly old louvre window seemingly going nowhere, and a bit dark in there). Nice pool area on 3rd floor roof, if you can endure the heat. Nobody there when I visited. Also, very friendly people on the road outside and the walk into town (the areas aroud train stations tend to be unsavoury, but this wasn't at all.

The hotel was dirty. It was rundown and shabby, and the facilities were horrible.

Need some improvements in room service / food... Didn't get coffee in the evening around 8 pm and the reason was cause it's dinner time, no evening snacks like sandwiches available...

The Hampi Hotel has good and bad levels of service. The good, great for the railway station and Hampi historical sites. Good restaurant especially for evening meal (maitre d'hotel) as good as anywhere we have been. The breakfast could have been better only a limited choice. Laundry service was good, but not ironed The bedding could have been cleaner. We asked for a quiet room and were located three floors above the outdoor function room. Fortunately the very loud noise stopped at 11 pm. Check out was a nightmare. We were given a bill for sundries only, we asked what about the room cost and was told that this would be debited from our credit card when we booked the room. On route to Mysuru we received frantic phone calls that we had left w/o paying. We ended up sending our driver back with cash. Not impressed.

Goo location, courteous staff, good breakfast. Only down factor we felt little smell of the carpet flooring but this is ignorable. Toiletry facilities can also be improved like providing razor, etc..

Le personnel de l'hôtel était très gentil particulièrement Ismael à la réception. Chambre spacieuse, relativement propre. Bonne Wifi. Excellent restaurant avec des serveurs aux petits soins. Air climatisé bruyant et appel de la mosquée très Fort si la chambre donne sur la rue. (109)contrairement aux infos sur Expédia, toutes les chambres n'ont pas toutes l'air climatisé.

The good feel was at the reception during checking in and checking out. Ismail is a wonderful guy at the reception desk. Very pleasing and has excellent customer orientation. Food was excellent. Location is excellent. Service response time was excellent. There was a minor problem of shower drainage blockage that was reported and it helps if there are more channels made available on the television. Overall an excellent family hotel.

Staff were really nice and the food in the restaurant was fantastic. Great place, would definitely stay again.

Close to railway station, nice staff and nice food!

Friendlie staff. Good food. Linen could be cleaner. Bathroom was ok.
