Hotel New SS Residency

When we arrived at the premises, the staff at the reception was not aware of our pre-paid booking even though we had called the hotel just an hour before the arrival. The staff had to contact a few people then only we were allowed to check in. There were no reasonable transport service available with the hotel. There was only one filthy washroom in a twin double bed room booked for 4 people. We had informed the staff beforehand that we will be checking out at 5:30 in the morning, but there was no staff to assist with our luggage. The lift was not functional in the morning. Still no staff came to help. We had to carry our luggage ourselves all the way down using the stairs. While boarding the cab, the staff suddenly arrived and abruptly stopped us to clear the payment whereas we had pre- paid the amount while booking. He insisted on showing the proof payment. We showed the expedia receipt, then only he allowed us to leave. The overall experience was horrible.

Not recommended. The staff is clueless: 1. They did not find my reservation 2.Why did they take picture of my domuments besides copying them? 3. Could not help me set up the WiFi The room and the equipment is not up to standards: 1. In winter they only put only a small blanket, there is no heating and it got very cold at night. 2. No toilet paper 3. The toilet has stains from ages ago. 4. There were constant electricity cuts
