Kishkinda Heritage Resort

Large room, lovely outdoor sitting area. Room showing its age (sticking doors, etc.), but functional. Some mold in the bathroom and it took a couple hours to dry out the bedroom using the AC (rather humid)

Good stay. Too early check out time.

We had our dates mixed up and landed there a day early.Since we had international bookings we asked the manager on duty of he could adjust the dates since there was availability.They were not co operative and we ended up spending a huge amount for 2 really bad rooms since we didnt want to go searching for accomodation duing the busy Diwali vacation. The rooms and toilet were dirty, neglected and in a really bad shape.Considering what they charge for these rooms I'm surprised people are willing to pay for such dirty and substandard rooms.In our case we had no choice since we were booking last minute through expedia. It was one of the worst experiences of our travel bookings and accomodation so far. We are world travellers and do all our bookings through Expedia, never before have we paid so much for this poor quality of accomodation.

This hotel has the best food in town! They just have to update their room amenities and put more time in cleaning and maintaining the room.

Close to Hampi, Very clean surroundings. Nice to stay with the nature Natural stream Good Pool.

While the resort's proximity to Hampi island is surely its strongest selling point, the quality of service, food and accommodation surely don't justify the cost. The staff is helpful and the property is well constructed but the room (perhaps the most important part of the stay) in itself does not allow for an exceptional stay experience. Surely a large room for improvement in the property. Having said that, the lawns, the pool, the view make for a good change from a traditional hotel setup.

Had taken this hotel because of the advice the staff gave over the phone... very helpful in clarifying detail but hotel is not worth 2.5k we paid... breakfast was good but it's 3km away from the river (shortest way across to Hampi).. so you can't walk/cycle but have to take autos (all running on tourist rates). If you have e a large family and a vehicle good pace to stay away from all the hustle. If you're on foot, can find some other places nearer to Hampi. But doesn't color the amazing location!!

Cottages were good. But they should have more maintenance of rooms. There should be more facilities in the room.

Sehr einsame Lage, schöne Hotelanlage. Mit der Rikscha braucht es ca. 1 Stunde bis zum Hotel. Badezimmer ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Kaltes Wasser beim duschen. Die Matratzen sind extrem hart. Mit ein bisschen Glück kann man Affen und Papageien beobachten. Der Speisesaal erinnert an eine Gefängnisskantine, essen war ok.
