A lovely hotel in a great location. The room was large. The staff were fantastic. The neighborhood had a lovely charm thanks to mature trees lining the streets, and no high-rises. I will be back!

Sehr gepflegtes sauberes Hotel mit aufmerksamem und freundlichem Personal, ruhige Lage in Seitenstraße, trotzdem sind Geschäfte fußläufig schnell erreichbar. Frühstück war sehr lecker mit ausreichendem Buffet, Flughafen Taxi hat problemlos funktioniert. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Great clean hospitable place at very affordable rates. First off hats off to the staff, these are the best, friendliest staff, I ever encountered, I felt I was treated like a family member and very much home. Rooms very great with excellent beds, pillows and linen. The a/c worked great in the sweltering Bangalore heat wave. Wi-Fi worked very well. The following people need a shout out, and my profound thanks to them, they made my stay very comfortable. The front desk Thimanna and Marshall, with a helping hand from Mr. SRK himself ;), were always there for the guest with a friendly smile. The dining staff were great with Mr Vinod making me delicious omelettes and dosas, the breakfast was excellent with great South Indian delicacies like idly, upma and continental faire. Ali in the evening and Ashok in the morning were always tending to my needs. Special thanks to these two. Housekeeping, Aslam was great he was methodical and did an amazing job cleaning and replenishing the room with coffee, tea, water and fresh towels. Aslam rocks. Finally Mr Abhijit I was always greeted morning, enquiring if there is anything, they can do to make it better. Overall, I am very pleased with Lilac, its been my home away from home and it is my second visit. I will return next year. A friendly note: please don't prepay with Expedia, one will have trouble with modifications to the itinerary, post check-in.
