Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach Hotel

My stay here was great, except for a few glitches… like being charged twice for room service, being refunded then charged again on my room account that took three visits to reception and a disagreement on checking out about the same meal. I’m waiting for an invoice in the mail soon…😂😂 But in general the staff weee

Very nice hotel, by the beach. Food was excellent and rooms were spacious. Bathroom could do with an update, but overall was very nice and clean. Will stay there again

Everything was perfect for this property

There was a smoking zone near kids' pool, no proper changing rooms or shower for the swimming pool, and the service level was very bad at the breakfast area (square). most of the time no operator picks up the phone. I had to call 3 times for luggage pickup at the time of check-out. This hotel has a good location, but everything else needs an upgrade.

location was just perfect. on the beach. front desk should smile. Sadly not even eye contact. i asked one time to see if i can move the chair in the lawn area to enjoy the scenery but then I was denied.

Great location and great staff. However I was surprised by the finishing of the rooms. It was not the finishing of a Novotel hotel with cheap wood and cupboards. Our fridge was broken and the staff member claimed it was fine. The card key kept on failing. Very annoying but staff were lovely

Service is poor. No one respond through room telephone. Primarily reception. Room key is not working most of the time. System need improvement.

The most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept on in my life. Slow check in and check out, nearly an hour each. Bringing items to the room like extra blankets to try and make the bed more comfortable took 4 hours.

Everything looks good in pictures and information when booking the hotel. Once in place, it is less flattering. Slow check-in. TV in the room that doesn't work. Minibar with only water. Pool where birds gather to drink water. A bar with only one type of beer. Food OK but slow service. Recurring questions about which room number you have when sitting by the pool. The area outside the hotel was shabby. Canceled the last two nights (out of four). This because I found a last minute offer at The Oberoi Mumbai for the same price as Novotel Juhu Beach...

Beautiful and clean. Great breakfast. But svs is very slow how to call 3/4 times for just pillows. Waited about 30min for coffee packets. Asked for laundry. Said it would take 8 hours!

Check in and checkout tales very long- Not professional experience staff-

Staff were very helpful and made sure we were comfortable. The welcome could have been better. First day we had to ask many staff for coffee and then loads of drinks turned up so communication could be better.

Lovely hotel, cost of alcoholic drinks are the dearest in Mumbai

Room wasn’t fully serviced, pool area wasn’t clean, we had a beach view room but the windows were so dirty & there was scaffolding, so pointless having the view. The restaurant service was terrible, we waited for 2 drinks for nearly 30mins and ended up cancelling our order. Not worth the money to stay in this hotel. Only positive was the front of house and team as we entered the hotel.

I have stayed here with family 2 times before but this time it wasnt the same. Stayed with family so 2 rooms.The check in time was over 2 hours. They tried giving me my room far away from one another,down the corridor. Rooms were ok and food was good. No staff were there to attend to us during pool time during the day. During one of the breakfast time, the staff were dropped some hot fammable liquid cups and went over back of my dress and my dress and hair caught on fire,luckily my daughter was behind me and helped me put it out otherwise lot more damage would be done. The staff were more concerned about cleaning the mess than look to see if any guests were injured. Food and room conditions were fine but overall the hotel needs a refurb. Not sure if ill stay here again now.
