Ramanashree California Resort

It wasn't in the middle of Bangalore. So when we stepped outside of our hotel, it was still quiet. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were propery cleaned everyday. The breakfast was good. Enough choice for everyone.

Food and services were good. However room allocated and subsequent changes had plumbing or aircon issues.

I am very disappointed with my stay at Ramanashree California Resort. 1. Check-in. The reception staff couldn't find my booking and told me that they have no tie-up with hotels.com. I have to call hotels.com to get checked-in to a room that I already paid in full for, which took 45 mins. This is frustrating especially after a long flight. 2. Room I had booked an Executive Room, but I was given a room that was definitely not as advertised on hotels.com. The flush does not work, the bathroom door does not close, the room is dirty and certainly is not 3-star standard. I had to negotiate with the hotel manager and he finally "upgraded" me to an Executive Room, when I actually booked and paid for an Executive Room. For that "upgrade", I had to wait for another 45 minutes for them to clean up the room before I can finally get into my room. All in all, it took me 2 hours before I could get into a reasonable room. Even then the Executive Room is not acceptable for a 3-star hotel. Please stay elsewhere.

Toilet role was not available first few days so I needed to use my handy tissue but everything else is fine.

Room was in poor condition Breakfast was not Great, items were not present and served when asked only Only Swimming Pool is Good

The ambiance of this place is excellent. Rooms are very spacious though a bit aged. Where I stayed didn't have any view :( The food is very tasty and service is very good. There towels given are overused and need urgent replacement. Overall hospitality and comfort are commendable. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a leisurely weekend :)

I stayed at this place on a business visit. The resort was nowhere close to what the pictures depicted on the site. I would call it a Two Star property at the best. The first night was a nightmare ! 1) I had to get maintenance to fix the split AC to stop sounding like the engine of a Truck ! 2) I had to request the housekeeping to locate the light switches for me. The lights just won't turn off. 3) Both the electrical sockets won't work and I had to charge my phones using the sockets in the Bathroom. 4) The so called Gym was pathetic. No fan, no AC, old television set with bad sound, and a joke of a treadmill.

This hotel is NOT, repeat NOT, anywhere near Bengalooru International Airport. Takes 30 to 40 minutes even in the very light traffic of a late Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. Clean, spacious room, decent service. I wish Indian hotels allowed guests to put the two narrow beds together - I mean, this is 2012, not Victorian times, even if we weren't married ... Restaurant COULD be very nice, the food is good, but the staff are poorly trained, it takes ages to get them to go get some napkins, for instance. The lunch buffet is expensive, and they do not allow people who just want a light lunch to order that instead. Staff are polite, obseqious, but poorly trained. Don't use the in-room phones: local calls are exorbitant. I had to use it because the cellphone would not work either - maybe they are too close to some major electronics facilities, because the signal dropped out every few seconds, even if one went outside. VERY nice property, given that it is in a built-up downtown type area. Wish I had much more time to just wander around there.

My hotel stay was comfortable.Food was ok.Only they should change the breakfast menu.Hotel should not serve the same breakfast everyday. Room service needs improvement.
