We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Coorg. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The hotel staff were polite, courteous, and always ready to help. A special mention to the staff member who assisted us when my son was not feeling well a day before our departure — he personally helped us reach a nearby doctor and was extremely kind and supportive. We truly appreciate his efforts and care. The only small drawback is that the hotel doesn’t have an in-house restaurant. They do have a tie-up for food, so meals were not an issue, but for morning tea or light snacks, guests have to depend on nearby places. It would be great if they could set up a small area for basic snacks, tea, and coffee. Overall, a wonderful experience and highly recommended!

Like- Central location - Good WiFi - spacious room, good storage space Did not like - misleading depiction of the place, they don’t seem to be ready for customers? - Entire hotel on third floor, no elevator - noisy outside and rooms not sound proof - ongoing construction so “deluxe” room had big gaps in the roof, entrance had discarded construction material - no chairs or table in the “deluxe” room which cost more!! - breakfast menu was a handwritten slip of paper with 5 or 6 items, brought packaged from nearby restaurant. Dosa was cold and rubbery by the time we got it!! Nothing like their advertised picture!! - bed linen was definitely not clean - could not provide any milk powder for tea/coffee in the room. Staff said is was “out of stock”!!

Very convenient

The hotel was overbooked but the Manager of the Hotel Joseph contacted us in advance to inform about the situation and offered to book us in at a Home stay. Since we were going only for the weekend, I accepted the offer. The rooms at Home stay were spacious with a good view. For all the trouble Joseph offered us a comp fire place which we enjoyed as it gets cold over night in Coorg. Overall a wonderful experience of staying at Home stay and Thanks to Joseph for arranging everything as promised.
