Good stay. I don’t have much else to compare to in Bali but this felt like good value for money, enough variety of menu options to easily keep us going for a couple of days, and lovely views. Nowhere is without its flaws - an active port with some late night ship noise and hard beds (personal preference) but was fine overall.

Das Hotel ist auf einem Berg errichtet und hat ein Nachhaltigkeitskonzept. Die Bungalows sind aus Holz und halb offen. Man kann sie nur mit Bambusmatten, die wie Rollos funktionieren zur Nacht verschließen. Dadurch viele Tiere im Raum. Der Ausblick über das Meer ist dafür aber fabelhaft. Die Bungalows sind schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Der Pool ist recht groß. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Große Auswahl. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der kostenlose Shuttletransfer in die Stadt. Ohne wäre der Weg zum Hotel auch zu beschwerlich. Fazit: Wenn man mit den nächtlichen Tieren klar kommt, erhält man dafür einen wunderschönen Ausblick. Uns würden die Tiere und der Zustand des Bungalow eher von einem weiteren Besuch abhalten.

Pros: The view of the mountain (if you are lucky that the clouds disappear) is impressive. Yoga space and having free yoga lessons were great. Free shuttle to town was great!
Cons: It is called eco village but I wouldn't go that far. There are some sustainable practices like having own vegetable garden and refilling shampoo bottles but there are so many unsustainable processes, it makes you question the title. For example: AC is available in only one room in the villa, since the other room does not have a roof, but the roof of the one with the AC has so many holes, I felt sorry for trying to cool down the room that is not even sealed. They still use gas to warm up the water 😔
We had seven monkeys roaming in our terrace although we hadn't left any food outside. They just climbed the terrace when we were there, opened our bags, roamed in the kitchen and the bedroom!! We hid ourselves in only room that had a roof and called the reception to come and help us. One even left back to the forest with one of our bags! Considering this I really recommend having roof to both of the rooms.
Overall please be aware that animals including monkeys come and go - found so many different types of animal poop.
The resort faces a huge LPG depot positioned in the bay which is ruining the view. Apparently there were spilling accidents in the past and people do snorkeling there 😞
Considering the relatively high price of the resort, we were disappointed by the quality.

Each bungalow is separate and surrounded by luxuriant flowering vegetation. The area is peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of Padangbai, which is only 10 minutes walk away. The resort has a free bus service, on request, to and from the town. A lovely place to chill and watch the boats and ferries. Would recommend hiring a car to visit Tirta Gangga and Tenganan.

Amazing place with excellent views, comfortable room, and outdoor shower. The staff were very helpful and communicative, and the shuttle takes you or collects you from anywhere in the village, for no extra cost. The restaurant has almost 360 degree views and you can watch boats and dolphins while you eat. Highly recommended!

all over we enjoyed our stay the only thing i would like to mention mattress needs to be replaced it has a major dent in the centre so you basically fall into it sleeping on the edge didnt work either . As i hve sold beds for 20 years this was a bit of a downer

Property is totally unique. Beautiful and secluded from the busy town but only steps away from everything and if you want to go further they have a free shuttle. We felt so spoiled by the luxury and beauty of this oasis.

This is a lovely property. Very peaceful and relaxing. Amazing views from the top of the hill. Pool and rooms awesome. Could sit in the restaurant watching the view all day. Don’t miss this place

It was very unique with its view a the restaurant was great but it was also very unique with the amount of insect you had to deal with in your room/sleeping area.
Even in a “closed” compartment were so many insects that it was uncomfortable.
For this price I can’t recommend even with the unique view.

Nous avons passé un incroyable séjour avant de prendre le bateau pour les iles Gilli . C’est très calme, une magnifique vue et le restaurant fabuleux. Nous avons pu profiter du spa et les massages sont divins . Le seul regret est d’être rester qu’une seule nuit !

We enjoyed our stay. The views are stunning. Padangbai is a quieter and seemingly more authentic area in Bali. We managed a number of good scuba diving excursions. There is an amazing snorkling beach with beautiful corals and fish literally 5 minutes from Bloo Lagoon. In fact it's called Bloo Lagoon Beach.
We can recommend Bloo Lagoon Eco Village as a place to stay but know what you are signing up for. The biggest short coming is the lack of air conditioning and Bali is hot and humid. Sleeping in this heat can be uncomfortable. Secondly, this is not a house. The walls don't extend to the roof meaning that the bugs are free to enter. We didn't really have a problem with bugs and the beds are covered by mosquito netting but the experience is much closer to glamping then it is to a resort. Amenities were basic but sufficient.
Did I mention the view?

What an amazing place!! The views from the room were nothing other than stunning. You wake up to see the sea and mountains! It's so peaceful too.
The staff were great. Very accommodating also. Dining is exceptional! Breakfast also. I cannot think of a bad word to say about the place.
The pool is lovely. Slide is also good fun. The shuttle bus is very handy given the somewhat steep hill up from the town.
