Good stay out of centre Ubud. You need a scooter.

Établissement à l'extérieur d'UBUD au calme de la campagne, facile d'accès avec un minimum d'organisation et de recherche préalable. Piscine agréable (pas de serviettes piscines fournis !!). Petit déjeuner simple et frugal. Hébergement : Partie nuit de la chambre agréable et propre. Sommeil réparateur. L'espace cuisine, ses éléments et la partie salle de bain nécessitent urgemment un nettoyage en profondeur, et un entretien/réparation des matériels les constituant est plus que nécessaire. (Avis d'un professionnel de l'hôtellerie).

The people at Buda Cottages were great hosts, always wanting to help and serve you well. Breakfasts were super and we enjoyed the clean pool. Our accommodation had an underpowered AC unit and although it was working full blast, it could not keep the temperature at a comfortable level. We would still recommend this place.

We really like the atmosphere and the area, the staff was really attentive and friendly!! We love the banana pancakes 😍and the view.

Fabulous cottage. Great value for money. Buda and Kitur were friendly and knowledgeable.

The place was clean and in a good location. Had an incredible local family owned restaurant next door that we ate at several times. The placecwas extremely noisy. We paid more for the bigger place and it was sooo noisy being next to a kitchen. Also, you can sit outside on a front porch, which is nice, but it's VERY loud. We had people across the way talking on their phone as they sat outside and it was so loud, it sounded like they were in the room with us. This happened late into the night. I aksed to change rooms but none were available. This place needs some upgraded things in the bathroom (the shower looks nice) and on the room walls, as paint is missing. You only get hot water for five minutes in the shower before it gets freezing. I really looked forward to staying here with all the great reviews and was just disappointed.

This property is a beautiful and restful retreat from the bustle of Ubud. It is a small and intimate place to stay which brings with it the opportunity to meet other travellers. It is 6 minutes drive from Ubud and you will need transport of some kind but this was not a issue as it was always available when requested. There are some great little restaurants to walk to close by. We enjoyed the location to launch trips to other parts of the island and Buda became our trusted guide and advisor during our stay. I can only say that Buda cottage was our home and touch stone during our time in Bali. Buda was able to provide us with transportation, guiding and advice for the duration of our stay. Buda and his staff are also quick to arrange anything you might need like laundry services etc at local prices. I witnessed him on several occasions help travellers that found themselves in need of help for one reason or another ...going out of his way to make sure his guests were safe and well taken care of. We playfully called him " the fixer" and I cannot thank him enough for making our trip hassle free. We stayed for three weeks and took several overnights elsewhere returning several times to Buda Cottage. But if you were to stay a few nights and wanted to get a feel for the Area around Ubud... Buda is an excellent guide and will take you where you want to go at reasonable prices for day trips or overnight trips. Can't say enough!! btw,...the breakfast is excellent!!

Our stay was much, much too short - just overnight, sadly. Would loved to have been able to stay longer. The setting, in magnificent gardens was an unexpected delight - so courful and meticulously kept! Very clean and very helpful staff. Even agreed to prepare breakfast for us at 7am as we had an early fljght.

Très bon hôtel, cadre magnifique, propre, je recommande énormément et y retournerais sans problème.

Nous avons adoré séjourner chez Buda , l'endroit est un havre de paix, le tout très propre. Les équipes sur place organisent des sorties , louent scooters etc...de plus le déjeuner le matin fait maison est un délice

Lovely spacious bungalows. Nice garden with a tiny pool. Very friendly staff. Location is a bit out of town still within 10 mins in the center with motorcycle.

Wer In Mitten von Reisfeldern in einem sehr hübschen und sauberen Bungalow unter Moskito Netz wie in einem Himmelbett gut schlafen will, der sollte hier wohnen. Ein schöner Pool in mitten der 5 Bungalows lädt zum Baden. Service ist gut und Mr. Buda berät und hilft mit Touren. super netter Typ. Motorrad kann man bei ihm günstig mieten und in 10 Minuten ist man in Ubud. Jederzeit wieder, auch für länger.

Excellent stay, if you want a true Balinese experience in a beautiful village! Food was nice and pool was nice and clean, cottage was simple but beautiful and clean and the owner was amazing.

Unbelievable quite well built cottage with all you need for an relaxing and lovely atmosphere in the heart of Bali traditions of Ubud. Service impeccable and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Very clean and tidy place.. highly recommend

I would highly recommend this place! When in Ubud, do not stay in the center. It’s way better to stay here in the middle of the rice fields and palm trees. The area is super nice and the complex is very beautiful. Nice swimming pool and pretty rooms and bathroom. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fine. Many facilities available (laundry, motorbike rent, drinks etc.). Big value for money!!
