Kupu Kupu Barong Villas and Tree Spa by L’OCCITANE

リバーフロントプールヴィラに宿泊しました。 良い所： ・景色が良い。フロントからかなり急坂を下るだけあって、アユン側の渓谷に包まれ、森を満喫、リラックスできた。ウブドの中心部はかなり賑やかなので、奥まったこのヴィラを選択して本当に良かった ・とても静かで、鳥の音、虫の音がよく聞こえた（日中はラフティングの声も聞こえます） ・洗面台が2つあり便利だった ・バギーは、最初は怖かったけれど、ちょっとしたアトラクションのようで楽しめた ・水は毎日たくさん補充された。冷蔵庫内飲み物もフリーでよかった 悪くはないが知っておいた方が良いこと： ・清潔感に問題はないが、老舗だけあり、ヴィラの老朽化は否めない。床がギシギシしたのと、鍵が上手くかからない箇所があった ・深めのバスタブが床に埋め込んである部屋だったので、出入りに少々不安を感じた。年齢が上の方は、埋め込み型でない部屋をリクエストしたほうが良い ・部屋のプールは水がずっと流れているので少々冷たい。お昼前、日が当たる時間帯に入ったら慣れましたが。 ・中心部へのシャトルバスは1時間に一本なので少々不便なのと、帰りの時間が17時最終と早い。中心部からの戻りはGojekを使いました

VERY nice place but a bit worn down. I stayed here for a week with my 22 yo daughter and we enjoyed it a lot. The restaurant is beautiful but breakfast and other food is so-so. But in terms of estetica this is top notch. With the reduced price (we payed approx 200 USD/night it is worthwhile.

I loved the atmosphere of this property of being surrounded by nature. The suite was spacious and clean. The staff were very kind and helpful. I think there could be more signs around the property to help visitors find there way around when walking.

Amazing place with beautiful views and gardens. So peaceful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Just a bit tricky in and out of the buggy to get up and down windy steep roads to the room.

バリらしさを求めてこちらのヴィラを予約。 お部屋は、リバービュープールヴィラ。 エントランスから階段と坂をかなり降ります。 下りは問題ないけれど登りはしんどいので、バギーをその都度呼んでました。すぐきてくれるので大丈夫。 お部屋は、No.14。 濁ったリバーがみえます笑 プールのタイルやテラスのイス、東屋のソファなどはお世辞にも綺麗とは言えず、せっかくプール付きにしましたが、一度も入りませんでした。 雨季だったので、雨がよく降っていたし、夜は涼しいくらいなので、プールに入る気分になれなかった、というのもありますが。 でも、他のリゾート地のプール付きヴィラはよく泊まりますがここのは清潔感❌です。 お部屋のバスタブは大きくタイルもデザインもオシャレですが、バスタブの栓がぴったりハマらないので少しずつ漏れてってしまいます。 シャワーはお湯が出るまでけっこうな時間がかかりますが、水圧は十分。 ただ、夜間はお湯が出にくい日もありました。 停電もありまして、一度朝フロントに伝えて出かけたけれど帰ってきても直してくれてなく、また言ったら３０分くらいして直しにきてくれたのでまあいいとしました。 基本的にスタッフはとても親切。 拙い英語を一生懸命に聴こうとしてくれて優しさを感じます。 今回の主な目的が、バトゥール登山とランプヤン寺院に行く目的だったので、それに便利だと思い、こちらにステイしました。 両日ともホテル出発が２時半、４時、と早朝だったので、伝えると、朝食ボックスを持たせてくれました。 パン3種類、ゆで卵四つ、ハッシュドポテト、フルーツ色々、お水と盛りだくさん。 多すぎるので２回目はパンと水だけにしてもらいました。 お部屋のお掃除は1日一回。 夕方にタオル類交換とターンダウンに来てくれます。 へやにはお水が小さい瓶で3本しかおいてなくて、毎日追加してもらってました。 追加はペットボトルになることもありました。 アメニティは、全部ありますが、シャンプー、シャワージェルはいい香りだしよく泡立ちますが、なぜかコンディショナーが髪がギシギシなるので、２日目にコンビニでコンディショナーだけ買ってきました。 レストランはいつもすいていました。 朝食が１１時までとゆっくりで良い。 どの料理もまあまあですが、パンだけはとてもおいしかった。 ピザをルームサービスしました…美味しいけど、好みとは違いパン生地のカリカリだった。 ３０分ほどで到着。 ティッシュペーパーが不足がち。 なぜか箱の半分も入っていない。 アメニティは言わないと補ってもらえません。 ベッド周りの蚊帳はエアコンが直接あたらないし虫除けとしてもとても快適。 ベッドの寝心地は柔らかすぎず硬すぎずとても好み。 コンセント系が不自由。 アダプターがないと使えない。 コンセントの場所がよくない。床近くがメインで、ベッドサイドにはありません。 アダプターと延長コードはマストアイテムだった。 ドライヤーも、握ってないと使えない握力必要なタイプで、髪が長い人や握力ない人はすごい使いにくいから、海外対応のドライヤーも持って行ったほうがいいと思う。 これはものすごいストレスだった。 バスルームにバスタオルをかける竹製のラックはあるが、使用後ここにかけておくと全く乾かないので、ハンガーにかけてカーテンフックに引っかけて乾かした。 空港送迎は高い。 ウブド中心地からは３０分ととおいですが、距離は6キロ程度なのに、バリ島全体での交通渋滞によるもので、仕方がありません。 シャトルバスは使わずGlab愛用

First of all embracing the amazing jungle view from the river front villa is amazing, also the room is huge and the breakfast is among the best in Bali island. Amy and Sugara are quite professional and they were able to meet all our requirements in a timely fashion. I found laundry service fee kind of expensive but it would not matter considering all the positive aspects. Its a quite hotel close to ubud market area and other attractions. If i visit the island again, Kupu Kupu Barong would be a great place to stay again.

The staff tried , but some were not familiar with hospitality trade . This is my 2nd time at this property , & I must say it is very tired — needs re - furbishment soon . Stay wasn’t bad , but could be better … … .

The room needs serious renovation. You have to take a shower in the bath but there is no curtain so you can be sure to flood the bathroom every time you take a shower. Everything in the room is very old. The breakfast is terrible. This hotel is really overpriced for the

Absolutely beautiful hotel with a wonderful and caring staff. The staff were always there to help with our luggage, getting a car, or answering any questions we had. The views of the river and mountains were incredible. Breakfast was delicious with many options available, great service from the staff, and amazing views. Overall such a nice experience!

We were lucky enough to get a free room upgrade. All the staff are friendly. The view is spectacular. Highly recommended.

We had a private pool with the river view villa, and it was beautiful. The villa was cleaned, great view, and amazing customer service. The staff are always friendly and will do whatever they can to accommodate your needs. Our water is always stocked, and when we need extra, they bring you extras. On top of that, you have your own dedicated butler that you can easily call by dialing #3 on your villa's phone. The free breakfast buffet was amazing, especially compared to the free breakfast that these American hotels offer. Personally, Kupu Kupu Barong set the standard for free breakfast at a very high level for me now. If we go back to Bali, we will definitely stay here again.

Villa 28 is Amazing ! Spectacular view and all the team are so accommodating. I would definitely return and recommend Kupu Kupu Barong.

We stayed in one of the River View Villas which was lovely. Amazing view and lovely plunge pool. The hotel itself was a little lacking in facilities and a little tired in areas. I was very disappointed that despite it being a L'Occitane hotel, the actual L'Occitane shop had no products available during our stay.

The hotel needs urgent maintenance and cleanless.

Our stay at kupu kupu barong was beyond amazing. We were stunned at how wonderful our room was (with its own plunge pool) and loved the very friendly staff. We only ate at the restaurant once for dinner which was pretty good, the breakfast buffet had a good variety but f Balinese and “western” food. But the best part of our stay was our butlers Sugi and Sumadi, not to mention the gentlemen I called “everywhere guy” because he was always there when we needed him (I’m so sorry I forgot your name). They were both friendly and attentive. They predicted our requests, offered great tips and went above beyond for our needs. I can’t wait to have an excuse to go back.

A charming and exotic property full of atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the villas were fun with great views.

5* service in a 3* hotel in terms of the decor and need for maintenance. BUT staff wonderful. Nevertheless cannot ignore need for considerable investment to update property.
