Beautiful property, very nice staff, pool and rooms are beautiful. Breakfast included was so nice! It’s a long drive from center of Ubud, but nice being near the rice fields. Lovely place to relax and get away from all the traffic.

I had a very pleasant stay at Maru Fortuna. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and I enjoyed having access to the pool whenever I wanted. Breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day. I also tried the full Balinese massage package — it was okay, though a bit average compared to my expectations. The location is just outside of Ubud, which made it a peaceful retreat. Transport was available on-site whenever I needed a lift. The staff were extremely friendly and always ready to help with anything I needed.

Bellissima struttura, in un luogo appartato e fuori dal caos di Ubud . Grande e comoda stanza, bel bagno, climatizzata e con un balcone sulla piscina a sfioro sulla foresta. Buona la colazione, servita sul tavolo del balcone, e soprattutto un personale incredibilmente gentile e affettuoso. Possibilità di ricevere da mangiare a prezzi veramente vantaggiosi e ottimi anche i massaggi in camera, molto convenienti. Per visitare l’isola è necessario prenotare dei taxi o affittare degli scooter,per il resto è una struttura eccellente!

It is located on a quiet neighborhood. The grounds are kept clean. The rooms are spacious with big comfortable beds and shower rooms. Adequate hot water supply throughout our 10 nights stay. The entire villa has 7 separate rooms, some have kitchens and cook area. It has a private pool but water is a bit cold. We got tired with the same daily breakfast menu. We wish there were some variety to choose from especially for guests staying more than two nights. Our family occupied three units of the villa on the main floor. Please note there two units above and two units below and they don’t have elevators. You have to walk up or down the stairs. The front desk staff are very friendly but sometimes it gets frustrating because they don’t communicate well and understand English. I hope the owners give their staff opportunities to learn the language by taking English lessons/courses. The pathway to the Villa is narrow and dark at night. I commend Komang, the old lady who took care of our daily breakfast. The villa has their own taxi service which is convenient and charges is very reasonable. Thank you to the person who drove us to the airport early morning. I will recommend this place to those visiting Bali if you like to be close to nature and have a peaceful and quiet place to stay during your visit. You can also enjoy a spa/massage in your own room. Thank you Maru Fortuna

Staff were very helpful despite language barrier. Breakfast got boring as it’s an everyday same kind. Having breakfast outside of your room was good for few days then it became boring and during cool mornings it didn’t seem right at at times.Long ways from main road and attractions.

Das Hotel an sich ist sehr schön, die Zimmer sind super ausgestattet und das Personal ist sehr nett und freundlich. Wir haben für die Sauberkeit 1 Stern abgezogen, da die Handtücher nicht ausgewechselt wurden und die Betten immer nur aufgefrischt werden aber nicht neu bezogen, wir hatten diverse Flecken auf den Bezügen. Leider ist das Hotel sehr weit weg von Ubud, für die paar km braucht man gut und gerne mal 40-60 Minuten. Um das Hotel herum gibt’s Fussläufig wenig zu sehen und man ist auf ein Verkehrsmittel angewiesen. Roller mieten ist im Hotel möglich die möchten allerdings knapp das doppelte an Roller Miete pro Tag. Wir konnten sie allerdings etwas runter handeln. Das Hotel ist sehr schön und gepflegt, der Pool war stets sauber allerdings auch super kalt. Generell ist das Hotel zu empfehlen allerdings nicht länger als 3 Nächte. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt nach 6 Nächten abgebrochen und sind weiter gezogen.

Awesome Villa ! More beautiful in reality ! Staff ,very helpful,be kind to them,you get way more smiles and service. Communicate with lots of smiles ! We were able to get to Ubud downtown with Villa driver,Putu,and also local Taxi company Ubud Center.Lovely walk up the street ,nice surprises around the corner ,Cosmetic store,waterfalls ,Cafe ,village life ! Pool was refreshing ,landscaping,gorgeous,beautiful elements,at every turn,please check out the outdoor shower ,a work of art! The Koi ,the foundations , the water features ,bonsai,super elegant,and classy !

The best hotel we stayed in our whole trip. Family run hotel with amazing service even with a little language barrier. In a friendly little village. Amazing veiws from the rooms and they were big and spacious. Could not recommend staying here anymore if I ever return to Bali will definitely be staying here again !! Just be aware it’s about 20 minutes to the main town of ubud but you will find this with most hotels, they offer a taxi service however which is super cheap

My parter and I stayed at this villa for 5 nights and we both loved our stay. The staff are super friendly and helpful, they go above and beyond to ensure you have a good stay. The villa has a beautiful view and it’s in a very quiet area. With that being said, it was 20/30 mins away from ubud so it was a little difficult to get around.

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, sehr gepflegt und nigelnagelneu. Die Mitarbeiter sind unheimlich freundlich und das Frühstück großartig.
Leider hatten wir etwas Pech mit dem Zimmer, weil es direkt vor dem „Wasserfall“ fürs Fischebecken lag und dieses 24 Std lief. Es war super laut und dadurch trotz der super idyllischen Lage weit ab von allem, die lauteste Unterkunft die wir in 2 Wochen auf Bali hatten…schade, dass es am Ende an dem eigens initiierten Lärm liegt, denn die Lage des Hotels ist weit weg von allem und man würde sonst wirklich nur der Natur lauschen können. Sind daher eher abgereist. Haben aus Kulanz unser Geld wieder bekommen. Vielen Dank nochmal für das unkomplizierte Entgegenkommen des Managements

If you like peace and quiet and the tranquility of the jungle, then this is the place for you.
The property is about 25-30 minutes from downtown Ubud, and instead of being a con, this is a big PRO -- if you are unfamiliar with Ubud, it is constantly full, has lots of traffic, and is a chore to navigate in and around with no peace and quiet.
Do your daily rituals, shopping, sightseeing, and eating, then head back to get some rest and peace and quiet at a beautiful property that overlooks the jungle with an infinity pool that I often swam in at night during the rain - which was magical.
Combine that with a wonderful staff, breakfast made when you want to eat it, and beautiful grounds with Koi and all kinds of plants and fauna, and it adds up to a pretty remarkable getaway.
Oh, you can also get a Grab (Doordash/Uber equivalent in Indonesia) from the property, and food delivered -- just make sure to tip your delivery people because it's often a 30-minute drive for them to get to you!
All in all, if I ever come back to Ubud, this is where I will look to stay.

This property is superb!!! If you want a super quiet, zen, relaxing place, this is your spot!!! It is quite a travel to the city center, 20-30 mins. But if you want something relaxing, this is your place. I took grab whenever I needed to go to the city center. They provided breakfast and they are partnered with a local restaurant which made yummy food!! They also helped me find a massage therapist who was super nice. Everyone who works here are helpful and super nice!!! Loved my stay :) interior design was superb as well!!!

It is located on a quiet neighborhood. The grounds are kept clean. The rooms are spacious with big comfortable beds and shower rooms. Adequate hot water supply throughout our 10 nights stay. The entire villa has 7 separate rooms, some have kitchens and cook area. It has a private pool but water is a bit cold. We got tired with the same daily breakfast menu. We wish there were some variety to choose from especially for guests staying more than two nights. Our family occupied three units of the villa on the main floor. Please note there two units above and two units below and they don’t have elevators. You have to walk up or down the stairs. The front desk staff are very friendly but sometimes it gets frustrating because they don’t communicate well and understand English. I hope the owners give their staff opportunities to learn the language by taking English lessons/courses. The pathway to the Villa is narrow and dark at night. I commend Komang, the old lady who took care of our daily breakfast. The villa has their own taxi service which is convenient and charges is very reasonable. Thank you to the person who drove us to the airport early morning. I will recommend this place to those visiting Bali if you like to be close to nature and have a peaceful and quiet place to stay during your visit. You can also enjoy a spa/massage in your own room. Staff were very helpful despite language barrier. Breakfast got boring as it’s an everyday same kind. Having breakfast outside of your room was good for few days then it became boring and during cool mornings it didn’t seem right at at times.Long ways from main road and attractions.

Das Hotel an sich ist sehr schön, die Zimmer sind super ausgestattet und das Personal ist sehr nett und freundlich. Wir haben für die Sauberkeit 1 Stern abgezogen, da die Handtücher nicht ausgewechselt wurden und die Betten immer nur aufgefrischt werden aber nicht neu bezogen, wir hatten diverse Flecken auf den Bezügen. Leider ist das Hotel sehr weit weg von Ubud, für die paar km braucht man gut und gerne mal 40-60 Minuten. Um das Hotel herum gibt’s Fussläufig wenig zu sehen und man ist auf ein Verkehrsmittel angewiesen. Roller mieten ist im Hotel möglich die möchten allerdings knapp das doppelte an Roller Miete pro Tag. Wir konnten sie allerdings etwas runter handeln. Das Hotel ist sehr schön und gepflegt, der Pool war stets sauber allerdings auch super kalt. Generell ist das Hotel zu empfehlen allerdings nicht länger als 3 Nächte. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt nach 6 Nächten abgebrochen und sind weiter gezogen.

Beautiful property, very nice staff, pool and rooms are beautiful. Breakfast included was so nice! It’s a long drive from center of Ubud, but nice being near the rice fields. Lovely place to relax and get away from all the traffic.

I had a very pleasant stay at Maru Fortuna. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and I enjoyed having access to the pool whenever I wanted. Breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day. I also tried the full Balinese massage package — it was okay, though a bit average compared to my expectations. The location is just outside of Ubud, which made it a peaceful retreat. Transport was available on-site whenever I needed a lift. The staff were extremely friendly and always ready to help with anything I needed.

Bellissima struttura, in un luogo appartato e fuori dal caos di Ubud . Grande e comoda stanza, bel bagno, climatizzata e con un balcone sulla piscina a sfioro sulla foresta. Buona la colazione, servita sul tavolo del balcone, e soprattutto un personale incredibilmente gentile e affettuoso. Possibilità di ricevere da mangiare a prezzi veramente vantaggiosi e ottimi anche i massaggi in camera, molto convenienti. Per visitare l’isola è necessario prenotare dei taxi o affittare degli scooter,per il resto è una struttura eccellente!

Awesome Villa ! More beautiful in reality ! Staff ,very helpful,be kind to them,you get way more smiles and service. Communicate with lots of smiles ! We were able to get to Ubud downtown with Villa driver,Putu,and also local Taxi company Ubud Center.Lovely walk up the street ,nice surprises around the corner ,Cosmetic store,waterfalls ,Cafe ,village life ! Pool was refreshing ,landscaping,gorgeous,beautiful elements,at every turn,please check out the outdoor shower ,a work of art! The Koi ,the foundations , the water features ,bonsai,super elegant,and classy !
Property is well maintained,beds are comfortable,shower ,amazing .Breakfast,just superb ! A most Stay ! Can’t wait to return .Thank you all ,at Maru Fortuna , for making our stay ,Top notch !

The best hotel we stayed in our whole trip. Family run hotel with amazing service even with a little language barrier. In a friendly little village. Amazing veiws from the rooms and they were big and spacious. Could not recommend staying here anymore if I ever return to Bali will definitely be staying here again !! Just be aware it’s about 20 minutes to the main town of ubud but you will find this with most hotels, they offer a taxi service however which is super cheap

Property is beautiful and staff is amazing, very clean and pervect for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, however if you are looking to do many activities the property is 30 min to an hour away from the tourist spots in ubud.

My parter and I stayed at this villa for 5 nights and we both loved our stay. The staff are super friendly and helpful, they go above and beyond to ensure you have a good stay. The villa has a beautiful view and it’s in a very quiet area. With that being said, it was 20/30 mins away from ubud so it was a little difficult to get around.

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, sehr gepflegt und nigelnagelneu. Die Mitarbeiter sind unheimlich freundlich und das Frühstück großartig.
Leider hatten wir etwas Pech mit dem Zimmer, weil es direkt vor dem „Wasserfall“ fürs Fischebecken lag und dieses 24 Std lief. Es war super laut und dadurch trotz der super idyllischen Lage weit ab von allem, die lauteste Unterkunft die wir in 2 Wochen auf Bali hatten…schade, dass es am Ende an dem eigens initiierten Lärm liegt, denn die Lage des Hotels ist weit weg von allem und man würde sonst wirklich nur der Natur lauschen können. Sind daher eher abgereist. Haben aus Kulanz unser Geld wieder bekommen. Vielen Dank nochmal für das unkomplizierte Entgegenkommen des Managements

If you like peace and quiet and the tranquility of the jungle, then this is the place for you.
The property is about 25-30 minutes from downtown Ubud, and instead of being a con, this is a big PRO -- if you are unfamiliar with Ubud, it is constantly full, has lots of traffic, and is a chore to navigate in and around with no peace and quiet.
Do your daily rituals, shopping, sightseeing, and eating, then head back to get some rest and peace and quiet at a beautiful property that overlooks the jungle with an infinity pool that I often swam in at night during the rain - which was magical.
Combine that with a wonderful staff, breakfast made when you want to eat it, and beautiful grounds with Koi and all kinds of plants and fauna, and it adds up to a pretty remarkable getaway.
Oh, you can also get a Grab (Doordash/Uber equivalent in Indonesia) from the property, and food delivered -- just make sure to tip your delivery people because it's often a 30-minute drive for them to get to you!
All in all, if I ever come back to Ubud, this is where I will look to stay.

This property is superb!!! If you want a super quiet, zen, relaxing place, this is your spot!!! It is quite a travel to the city center, 20-30 mins. But if you want something relaxing, this is your place. I took grab whenever I needed to go to the city center. They provided breakfast and they are partnered with a local restaurant which made yummy food!! They also helped me find a massage therapist who was super nice. Everyone who works here are helpful and super nice!!! Loved my stay :) interior design was superb as well!!!
