White Tortoise Eco Villa's

The room was spotless, the staff were super attentive and responsive via WhatsApp. We had the romantic candlelit dinner set up at our villa and breakfast there twice during our stay and the food was amazing! Would 10/10 stay here again.

What an Amazing Location for staying in Uluwatu. Feels like staying with Family and Friends within nature and Uluwatu surrounding.

Unfortunately a bit of style over substance here. Beautiful villa, great view and stunning pool. However, awful roads surrounding the villa, nowhere is walkable, lots of noise from stray dogs, bikes and from the town below. Whilst some staff were lovely, they weren’t proactive. Food left going mouldy in the room and not removed during cleaning. We had a power cut which was out of their hands, but we had to contact them to find out if there were any battery or solar lights. After a couple of hours they provided 6 tea lights and a torch finally. It felt as though we were an inconvenience. They did offer 50% off late check out the next day which was appreciated.

Great last night in Bali

This was an absolutely fabulous stay. The room was comfortable and private, and the staff was super friendly and polite. They care about their customers and the property. The good was some of the best I’ve had in Bali.

The villa exceeded our expectations, the design and quality of materials are impressive. We’ve lived and worked in the region for decades and have been coming to Bali for 15+ years and this will be added to our favourite spot list.

We had a lovely stay, traditional Balinese style villa with dark wood interior nestled within the jungle. The staff made our stay! They were all so welcoming and friendly, Christina especially deserves a special mention, she really is fantastic! And on hand if you ever need anything :) the communication from white tortoise was exceptional. They even went above and beyond when we needed medication for a sun allergy, where they sourced and collected the medication for us. Breakfast was incredible too!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at the White Tortoise Eco Villas. The staff couldn’t have been lovelier. They were so helpful leading up to our trip, helping us plan activities and transportation. We were even more impressed with their professionalism and work ethic during our stay. There was a delicious breakfast included in our stay that staff would deliver to your villa and you could upgrade for a fee to have a floating breakfast delivered to your room. The food was great and excellent service. We liked the location as it was a short 5-15 minute drive from everywhere we wanted to go (restaurants, shops, beaches, spa)! The staff also arranged private massages for us in our villa which was wonderful and so relaxing. Overall, we had an excellent stay here.

Gorgeous villas with the most ideal private terrace and pool for sunbathing and chilling. Food was exceptional - some of the best breakfasts we have had in Bali. Staff are helpful and always available. You will need a scooter or taxi to get around - which they will gladly arrange (only a 5 minute scoot to the high street). 10/10 recommend. You are quite close to nature with the sound of roosters, dogs, cats, birds at all times of day/night. There were some occasional monkey visitors - however they kept their distance.

The property is amazing. Great staff, great villas, great food, very quiet and amazing sea view. Definitely recommend it with a few observations: - if you don’t have a scooter, access ain’t easy. Walking around is not an option and taxis take long / don’t accept the ride - it’s a forest property. There will be small animals like frogs and insects around. If you are too bothered, think twice - the shower was mostly cold and the water pressure weak. But the property manager said they would fix it

Das Personal war überaus freundlich und sehr bemüht. Man konnte auch sehr gut über Whatsapp kommunizieren. Sie haben sich sofort um einen Roller gekümmert, welcher dann auch direkt vom Verleih zur Villa gebracht wurde. Alles total unkompliziert. Mit dem Roller ist man (durch eine kleine und hügelige Waldstraße) recht schnell an der Hauptstraße mit vielen tollen Restaurants und Cafes. Das Frühstück, wie auch Kaffee und frisch gepresste Säfte waren sehr lecker und man kann diese sowohl in die Villa bestellen, wie auch im Restaurant genießen. Wir hatten die "kleine" Villa, welche auch tatsächlich nicht besonders groß ist. Für ein paar Tage ausreichend, aber leider gab es keine wirklichen Ablagemöglichkeiten. Das "Outdoor-Bad" ist bei dem schwül-warmen Klima nicht wirklich positiv und man kann dort auch keine Cremes, Make-up etc. lassen. Die Türen schließen nicht wirklich, so dass es teilweise große Spalten gibt. Dadurch muss man die Klimaanlage recht kalt einstellen, was wiederrum nicht gerade zu einer guten Umweltbilanz beiträgt. Es war alles sauber, allerdings war die Toilette schon sehr vergilbt und sowohl der Moskitoschutz über dem Bett wie auch die Auflagen der Sonnenliegen hatten Flecken. Die kleine Terrasse mit dem Pool ist schön gemacht und hat einen tollen Blick. Leider hatten wir nur vormittags Sonne. Das Wasser im Pool wurde leider sehr schnell trüb (Sonnencreme?) und die Überlaufrinne sah nicht sehr appetitlich aus.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at White Tortoise Eco-Villa! We stayed at one of the one-story villas, which is surrounded by a beautiful garden and has detailed wood carvings and thoughtful decorative touches throughout. The room is spacious and clean, with both A/C and fan. The bed is large and comfortable. The bathroom is also a thoughtfully decorated “outdoor style” bathroom, still with plenty of privacy. There’s a nice large patio just outside the sliding doors to the bedroom with plenty of seating, leading out to a private deck with two lounge chairs, umbrella and a small infinity pool. The staff was incredibly friendly, patient and informative from the moment we checked in. They were available over WhatsApp for whatever we needed. The included breakfast was delivered to our villa in the morning at our request and was quite tasty. The staff also arranged a taxi for us for our transfer to the airport which a wonderful and friendly driver, Cornelius, who offered a good rate. The property feels as though it is in a secluded area, and yet it is less than a 10-20 minute drive to the other popular attractions in town including Uluwatu temple, Single Fin, Ulu cliffhouse, Omnia, Goosebery, etc. This was a nice change of pace after a very busy trip. We really enjoyed this impressively decorated property which incorporated both traditional and modern details, as well as the wonderful service we received.
