Quite, clean, swimming pool sauna steam was fantastic. Employees were friendly and helpful.

Dated hotel, dirty carpet and used of gym very limited 10 am, so of no used. Not a great experience was told it used to be good

Very helpful and accommodating staff. They gave early check in. Rooms were spotless as was the hotel.

The location is great. Close proximity to the town snd pubs etc. Reception and waiting staff were incredibly friendly including room service. They were kind enough to allow a slightly later check out too. But the breakfast was below par. The carpets through accomodation and in the room are filthy. The dlevator to the rooms is not adequately maintained and I queation if its ever serviced. The lobby and toilets nearby had an odor comingvfrom pipes of sewerage. Its a real shame as a Carlovuan this place was the place to br years ago but hasn't had an decor update in 20 plus years. Very outdated drcor. Snd spicy in price at 229 for a Sat night. No issue with the charge but it was far from a 4 star more like a sub par 3 star hotel. Absolutely dusgusted. I've stayed in The Dplnen atalbotvzmount Eolsey abd any of these are miles ahead of this place. Fantastic staff though.

Lovely hotel. We come here every time we visit our daughter in Carlow. Everyone is always friendly. GREAT BREAKFAST!

Unfortunately the room we stayed in had a poor toilet which would barely flush. Nothing would go down. To top it off, the walk to our room was a little far and twice during our stay, when we returned from dinner or shopping our cards were deactivated, causing us to have to walk all the way back to the desk to have them reconnected again. It wasn’t the best experience for the price. Disappointed and won’t be returning if we ever make it back to Ireland.

My only real complaint is no plant-based milk and butter-type spread. It was easy enough to put together a hot or cold vegan breakfast. The addition of oat milk and a spread and peanut butter would have made it excellent.

Fantastically placed in Carlow. Great parking facilities. Decor needs a huge update. Lovely staff.

Easy check in. Very helpful reception staff. Room was clean and well maintained. The only downer was the restaurant, where the service was a bit on the slow side. We intended to have a sweet, but after waiting for the dessert menu for 20 minutes, we called it a day and asked for the bill instead. Food we had was good though.
