Lovely place. Nice and quiet even though it is a pub. Staff very friendly.

Great small hotel, with a great bar and restaurant also, very helpful and professional staff. My only complaint was the room was BOILING hot

Simple but clean accommodation in a lovely setting. Great location to explore Wicklow.

There was no way to turn down the heat in our room, so we were uncomfortably too warm all night and had difficulty sleeping. The shower and sink were incredibly slow to drain, so you ended up with a sink full of water before you finished washing your hands or brushing your teeth, and in the shower you constantly sloshed water onto the floor. The only accessible plug without moving the bed was high up on the wall where the TV is mounted, but there was an active roof leak running down the wall, so we couldn't use that plug. The people were very kind and welcoming... we just had a bad room experience.

Room was great and everyone was so incredibly nice. I'd love to visit again in the summer with that newly installed tent on the patio!

The Horse & Hound was a lovely historic stay for our 1st night in Ireland. The food at the restaurant was very good, (especially the blackberry & apple crumble). Convenient off street parking. The only complaint we had, (and not the property's fault), was that we were exhausted from the travel and 6 hour time difference, and the beer garden on a Saturday night just outside our window wasn't really helpful for getting a good night's sleep. If you are up for a good party, you would probably enjoy the property more than two exhausted Americans on their first night on "the emerald isle."

All I can say is wow! We just checked out of this place today and loved every single thing. The staff was phenomenal - very kind, helpful, and welcoming. The room was beautiful and the area was quaint. We visited the bar a few times and had consistently great service. I recommend booking a room here and I would definitely return if the chance arises. Also, the bed was super comfortable! Thank you Horse and Hound for an amazing experience.

Owners were super nice Kevin loves sports of all kind, which made for some conversation. Food was outstanding, best pasta dish I had on this trip, which included a week in Italy. Location is perfect for site seeing.

It was an extremely wonderful place to stay. The rooms were quite lovely right on the property is a bar and restaurant. Fish and chips were good. Very tasty.

Quaint, friendly people, easy access to N and M roads

The hotel has soft beds, if you like that. The shower over filled quickly and it's kinda awkward with luggage.

Clean and comfortable, lots of parking. Lovely pub and restaurant down stairs. Five minutes drive to Greystones where there are a great choice of restaurants and shops.

Very charming older building in a quiet area off a main highway. Delicious food in the restauraunt! Friendly staff. Large, clean room. Free parking tucked away behind the building.
