The Montenotte

A lovely hotel with fantastic staff. Despite being an incredibly busy weekend all of the staff were always ready to help with a smile. The facilities were very good and much appreciated when it just poured down most of one day. Views of Cork from our apartment and especially from the glasshouse bar and the restaurant were wonderful. It was a brilliant place to stay.

Loved this hotel. Staff very professional and breakfasts with good variety and delicious. Enjoyed the garden with the whimsical rabbit sculptures. Also watched a movie in the very comfortable cinema. Highly recommend this hotel

Delighted by initial impression, friendly greeting by staff, well-appointed room, health club amenities, spectacular views from beautiful comfortably furnished patios, gorgeous Victorian garden, retro movie theatre, Glasshouse cocktail bar, dining options, and help with touring and travel planning.

Lovely room and a great location in the city, breakfast was expensive but very nice and worth the money

Property is nice with a great view. Biggest issues were that our room was up a set of stairs ,across a short hall, and down more stairs. There were no multiple lower level doors that could have been made 2 way access doors to make this much easier, but they all only had handles on the inside. Our room window didn't fully close, so we could hear all the people at the bar and in the courtyard. Fortunately, we were very tired and this didn't keep us awake long.

A wonderful hotel, beautiful, stylish with kind & curteous staff. Very comfortable bedroom,clean & spacious. We enjoyed the pool & jacuzzi too. The dining room is spectacular, fabulous food in the evening & lovely breakfast too. We will definitely stay again.

Very nice place. The atmosphere, the food, the bars, and the staff.

A great view over Cork. The cocktails in the beautiful Glasshouse were first class, followed by a meal in The Panorama restaurant. The staff are lovely and the accommodation is perfect. A great place to unwind and feel welcome.

Great hotel. We really enjoyed our visit

Not very accessible due to signage and the property stretching over several buildings; very confusing to find my room again and the pool. All the surfaces and light shades were black which doesn’t help for someone with reduced sight. No usb charging points in the room. Room very comfortable with a bit of a view over Cork. Staff helpful and polite. Expected a little more for 5 star status but ok overall with somewhat old fashioned.

Honestly expected a bit more from a 4-star hotel. The facilities were great and the views exceptional, but service was spotty and the room amenities average.

Beautiful hotel above Cork. The grounds were lovely. The bed was comfortable. Their food was excellent. Great breakfast buffet! The roads getting there were a bit scary. Very narrow!
