Great location for all your tourist needs

Great rooms, always clean and tidy and great service. Highly recommend Zanzibar Locke- it’s now the only place we stay in Dublin.

This is a nice hotel in a great location to walk around in Dublin. The rooms are large and modern. The shared areas are cool and comfy. I found the rooms too dark to be comfortable doing any work and I did not appreciated the lack of room services and amenities. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Zanizabar locke was in the center of dublin easy to walk to most areas. The room was clean and well srocked with items for cooking. We didnt hear much of the street noise when we were inside. The staff was very nice and always greated us. The cafe hello charlie was quick and the coffee was good. We would definitely stay here again if we come back.

Great location. Easy access to food outlets and places of interest. Near to Temple Bar but without the noise.

Nice hotel but no daily room service. Had to ask for new towels daily.

Great location

Extremely easy to navigate to and from, great location, although heavily trafficked roadway. If not clear from website, servicing of room is entirely up to guest unless one stays in excess of 7 days.

The hotel was in a great location, easy to walk to almost everything. Coffee shop downstairs was great. Check in experience could have been better. Paid for early check-in at 2 PM, wasn’t able to check in until after three. Bed was comfortable, but pillows were too hard, and there was a duvet, which was far too warm for the weather. Difficult to figure out how to change the air conditioning setting.

Didn't realize there was no maid service for the length of our stay. So we asked for towels after day 1 and the front desk staff said they would be sent up. It never happened. I asked again a day later and they said they would be sent up right away. Once again, no towels showed up. Also the lighting in the room was insufficient to see anything. And finally, no power in the washroom to plug in shavers in order to shave.

room was like a small apartment and only thing was TV watching from bed was limited

Convenient location, clean facility, friendly and helpful staff. Would help if provided info on need to use room card to operate elevator.

The staff was juat amazing. Big shout out to Kelsea and the two gemts working graveyard. Made the stay that much better. Everything was great aside from the water pressure and the water to get warm.Just straight up to staight cold, no in between. Location perfect

Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Location is excellent. I did find it difficult to keep the room cool (but I also like it really cool while sleeping). I was disappointed to not get a room with a washer/dryer. That was my main reason for booking this location given that I was one week into a 2 week trip when I arrived. Apparently you have to specifically request one when you arrive (so note that if it's important to you). They did have laundry facilities in the basement but was expensice to use.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, ich habe 2 Übernachtungen vom 26.09.25 bis zum 28.09.25 gehabt. In der zweiten Nacht hörte ich um 23.10 Uhr ein Geräusch, das von der Klimaanlage kam und mich nicht schlafen ließ. Ich informierte die Rezeption. Dort waren 2 Mitarbeiter. Einer hieß Julio, den Namen des anderen Mitarbeiters kenne ich nicht. Ich bat Julio, das Geräusch in meinem Zimmer zu beseitigen. Er kam auf mein Zimmer (225), machte erwas an der Klimaanlage und sagte, dass das Geräusch in 10 bis 15 Minuten verschwunden sei. So ein Geräusch gab es übrigens auch im Zimmer meines Reisepartners, Hernn Björn Rosche in der Nacht vom 26.09.25 auf den 26.09.25 auf den 27.09.25 Nach 15 Munuten ging ich wieder an die Rezeption und informierte Julio, dass das Geräusch immer noch vorhanden war und bat um ein anderes Zimmer. Er sagte, es tue ihm alles sehr leid, aber er könne mir kein anderes Zimmer geben, da keines verfügbar sei, ich solle am nächsten Tag (28.09.2025) mit dem Manager Robbie sprechen, er sei um 10 Uhr morgens vor Ort. Als ich am nächsten Morgen mit Robbie sprechen wollte, war er nicht da. Eine Mitarbeiterin namens Linda teilte mir mit, der General Manager hieße Shane, der aber nicht da sei da er einen Unfall gehabt habe. Ich habe das alles für eine Hinhaltetaktik gehalten und bin sehr enttäuscht darüber, wie ich behandelt wurde, denn so eine Behandlung bin ich nicht gewöhnt. Mit freundlichen Grüßen Andreas Wachtmann

Great little gem of a hotel! Very cool apt style rooms ~ lovely decor! Across from Temple Bar in the heart of everything !!

Very cute, loved our stay here. Stayed at another hotel our last night in the same area and regretted it.
