You are paying for the view!!!! This hotel was not worth the money spent in my opinion. The hotel staff was not very accommodating, though the restaurant staff was lovely. We had to bring our luggage up to our room and back down during check in and check out — no one even offered and trust me it was a hike to get it up there. Also they overcharged us at every turn. At their overpriced wine testing (which they were unprepared for our reservation, not set up and didn’t remember what we booked) they said a bottle was $40, then at dinner said the same bottle was now $65! Every glass of wine was steeply priced and the wine tasting was boring and uninformative. We preferred our wine tasting elsewhere (save your money!). The bed was extremely uncomfortable, worst one we slept on the whole trip. While the chef at their restaurant is incredible, we enjoyed our first dinner there and felt like it was worth the money. The food for the olive grove dinner was not as good and we didn’t even get to sit in the grove for most of the night due to the cold temps (the highlight was the incredible live band they had which saved the dinner for us). Overall we spent almost no time at the hotel and were very disappointed in the overall experience — not a luxury experience at all. Save your money, go elsewhere or be prepared to pay solely for the view.

This was a beautiful location. The room was spacious and loved the patio for coffee in the mornings. It was very private. We enjoyed the pool and restaurants were great. Breakfast was amazing. We did the picnic and dinner in the Olive Garden and loved getting to know others at our table. The chefs food choices were so wonderful. We would definitely stay again.

Hotel charmoso e bem localizado na toscana. Jantamos no hotel, ambiente agradável e boa comida.

Hotel lindo. Quarto bom, box do banheiro pequeno. Oferecem um jantar junto as oliveiras como única opção de jantar naquele dia (os outros restaurantes do hotel estão fechados para esse evento). Seria lindo se a comida estivesse boa, o que não foi o que aconteceu. Mesmo o prato retornando cheio, nenhuma atitude foi tomada pela organização do jantar

Notre séjour au Borgo Vèscine était mémorable. Superbe endroit. Tout était parfait. Le service est impeccable. Le déjeuner était vraiment fantastique et le meilleur que nous avons eu dans notre voyage. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien climatisées. La piscine est géniale aussi!

It was everything we expected and more

Vi hadde et fantastisk bra opphold. Som å bo i et postkort. Eneste jeg kan kommentere er at det var vanskelig å komme seg rundt i området dersom man ikke leier bil og vi ønsket å drikke rødvin og ikke kjøre- brukte derfor mye penger på å få tak i lokale taxi.

Stayed here for our honeymoon and it was simply perfect. The food, room, staff, onsite activities were excellent. We rented a Vespa from them and it was truly an unforgettable experience. I only wished we had more time there. Would recommend this spot to anyone!

A beautiful property with great views from certain areas. It has so much potential but definitely needs work on a few things. Room- took 3 days to fix WiFi on tv to stream. Mold on bathroom wall which they addressed. No hot water last day to shower. You could hear everything from upstairs room. Need a mirrors outside of bathroom. Staff- good but some need more training Restaurants- food was very good and priced well. Service needs to be polished for sure. Bar- great Negroni but not always staffed. They need to promote a cocktails and make it more social. They have the ability to offer a better experience

Property was lovely but too isolated. Staff rarely smiled and customer service was mediocre; especially for such an expensive venue. When we asked concierge about transportation options were scolded and told we should have rented a car (same with another couple we met there) they need to highlight you need a car on their site as no reasonable options such as cab

Nice escape. 4 starts because our dinner reservation was modified last minute. And very late dinner times in general, I wish they would start dinner at 6 pm.

Negatives: - The rooms are dingy and very dark. They did move us when we asked though which was good service. - does not look like the photos whatsoever, do not be fooled by seeing this place on Instagram - dark / tired in general - pool area dirty / grubby - no wine glasses in room - no touches like wine left in room or anything personal - no wine in mini bar - awful bathrooms in bedrooms - terraces leave much to be desired, no views Positives: - amazing dinner, made up for the stay - lovely man at the pool bar serving - amazing staff at dinner and breakfast - great breakfast cold dishes (lovely fruit etc) - staff did move us when we asked to be moved ultimately it is not worth the price sadly, wanted to love this after seeing photos but a huge let down and wish we didn’t stay. We wanted to move hotels when we checked in as we were so underwhelmed. Would suggest to visit for dinner but there are much better properties in Tuscany for less. It didn’t feel special at all, just tired and dated. Properties like Dievole, Torre A Cona etc are down the road and so much nicer for the price. Huge shame as the dinner is absolutely amazing and the photos looked great. It has potential but is badly executed

In the heart of Tuscany silence, very good hotel. Clean, helpful staff. Must taste the own vines 2019 we tasted very very good. If you want to wake up with bird sympony, Endulge yourself in the pool reserve it.

We've stayed before and it is idyllic and beautiful. The food and staff has only improved. However, the hotel seems to have changed its approach and it isn't couple friendly anymore. Children running screaming at breakfast, left unattended with no adult supervision at the pool (pushing and splashing) and the worst is them being allowed to have tablets/phones loudly playing at what was otherwise a stunning moonlit dinner experience. We love this place and think its a shame for romantic holidays as other guests shared their concerns with us too. You don't expect so many children to be allowed to be so disruptive in such a serene, beautiful place. We provided feedback to the hotel directly but did not hear back.
