Excellent hôtel. Stayed there 2 nights and we loved it . Kids enjoyed the vintage elevator as well. Location was great, a/c worked great and staff was super friendly. Would absolutely recommend this hotel .

I must start my review with commending Angelica's kind services. She went above and beyond starting months in advance of our stay. We felt seen by her listening to our needs and making sure our stay was pleasant at all times. We rented two rooms for our family of 6 and felt comfortable in each. The rooms are clean and quiet. The location is within walking distance to The Vatican, Vatican Museums, eateries and shopping. It was easy to find transportation to other historical sites. Nice, comfortable hotels are only made better by their staff. Anjelica does this for The Boutique. We will definitely stay here in our future trips to Rome!

Wonderful property. Neat elevator. Enjoyed the room. They had Netflix hooked up so was nice in the evening. Staff was wonderful. Close to Vatican. We felt very safe in the neighborhood.

Hotel was fine. Room walls were too thin, I could heard both neighbors rooms TVs and conversations.

Det bliver varmt i Rom. Husk vand. Dejligt hotel på 6. sal (med elevator). Hyggelig lille lounge, dejlige rene værelser og god betjening. Jeg kan kun anbefale det.

We stayed at Joli Boutique Hotel during our recent visit to Rome, and while the location is excellent,just a short walk to the Vatican and surrounded by several great dining options—there are a few things travelers should be aware of. The building is quite old, which gives it some charm, but also presents practical challenges. The elevator is very small and outdated, fitting only 2–3 people at a time. It requires navigating two different manual doors, which is especially difficult when carrying luggage, or if you’re traveling with kids or a stroller. The wait for the elevator can often exceed 5 minutes, and there are a few stairs to climb before even reaching it, making accessibility a concern. That said, the rooms are nicely done, the staff is friendly, and the surrounding area is lively and walkable. If you're traveling light and don’t mind some old-world quirks, it could be a cozy and convenient choice. But for families or anyone with mobility issues, this might not be the most practical option.

Small elevator, owner or manager looked concerned for bringing out luggage's on the elevator.

Hotel staff extremely helpful and informative. Helped daily with trips and transfers. Very close to St. Peter's Square and all transport available to get around Rome. We will book this hotel again when we go to Rome. Would definitely recommend this hotel and the staff.

The room had a bad smell that I cannot describe and I didn’t know where it was coming from. There is no AC (maybe not activated) so it got a little warm in the room at night. That was in April 2025 when we visited Rome. I decided to open the window to allow some fresh air in but the bugs were also getting in. Other than those two things, it is in a great location, the staff were awesome, and the room is big enough for 4 adults and had everything that we needed for our stay.

The cafeteria and gelato place next to the building are very good. Very nice neighborhood with lots of Italians and few tourists. Neighborhood felt very safe. Hotel is on the top floor about seven stories up, so make sure you know how to use the elevator if you have bags and or stairs limited family members with you. The elevator is very nice when you get the hang of it.

Hotel was ok and recently renovated. Staff was very nice. However, the drain in the shower didn’t work well so water overflowed onto bathroom floor every time shower was used, and there were ants.
