Bamburi Beach Hotel - All Inclusive

Staff were extremely nice. Salmata checked us in and she went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome as it was very last minute and we had just had a bad experience at our other lodging. Arrived in the morning, she offered us coffee and assigned our room. Definitely will return.

Never book there. I booked there, took a flight to enjoy my reservation, and once there, I was told by a security guard that the hotel is closed since a month for renovations. They did not want to assist us for anything, and we ended up at another hotel (Neptune Beach Resort). At the second hotel, we talked with other clients there and some of them knew the Bamburi Hotel and they told us they only experienced bad things with Bamburi Hotel too. Never book there, that's my advice. They will steal from you and never communicate with you if there's an issue like closing, delay, etc.

Customer service was excellent. All members of staff really looked after us (family) and made us feel right at home.

The staff makes it here as it’s an old property. Very well positioned right on the beach. The welcome could have been better if I got some help with my luggage but the service got better after that. Robert, Emma, Ann are just some of the names I remember. The staff were really helpful and thoughtful! I didn’t feel alone as a solo traveller and they weren’t overwhelming either. There were some works going on and the room was tired looking. But I was mainly in the beautiful surroundings which the staff maintained beautifully. The security staff made me feel safe as they were visibly yet friendly. Some of the equipment in my room didn’t work and the balcony doors didn’t lock but I felt comfortable enough. The food was a good variety and not consistently good but there were many choices and restaurants too. I loved the quiet pool and the beach area lounge. I enjoyed my stay overall and will love to come back. Ps the massage therapists next door were great! I had three sessions during my stay, affordable too!

The rooms screaming renovation. Its a shame that the bathroom dont fill up with water fast enough takes all day after a flash.Thats embarrassing! when you ask they say they just fixed the tank the water will run just fine which wont . And its all the toilets in the hotel.The rest of the building is ok just toilets water system and rooms

An old rustic hotel that needs new beds and bathroom fixtures...but the staff is world class, the food is very good, and those two things alone make t it worth the stay.

Excellent location overall good facilities very good entertainment. An older property and the rooms reflect this but are very well maintained. No tv shows available YouTube only and most of the time it wouldn't connect.

WLAN gibt es nur um die Rezeption! In der heutigen Zeit kaum mehr vertretbar. Das Essen ist mittelmässig und sehr schnell alle, es gibt kein grosses Angebot. Der Empfang am ersten Tag war sehr ernüchternd, die Angestellte eher unfreunndlich und nicht hilfsbereit. Sie fand anfänglich auch die Buchung nicht und sprach eher abschätzig. (rassistische Äusserungen)

Enjoyed the resort very much every thing was excellent,rooms could use a little update but will definitely return again

The staff were excellent and very attentive, always going the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. In particular Erik and Daisy. Also, Anifah who was always happy and pleasant, when we checked out at 10am she gave us an extra room to shower in after we used the pool facilities as our flight wasn’t until later in the day she also made sure we were still able to have lunch after checking out. Something i would recommend is to create a bigger outside bar and also add more alcoholic drinks to the all inclusive cocktail menu. Also the food was very nice and varied every day however, i think more effort should be made to properly cover some food items as they were often swarmed with flies, for example the desserts and fruits. The rooms were cleaned to the highest of standards every morning and the cleaners never failed to say good morning. I would also recommend riziki the hotels taxi driver to anyone needing to travel outside the resort area, he was very friendly and informative.

Excellent and very friendly staff however facilities in urgent need of an upgrade and some TLC.. Moved rooms twice because AC was not working and 3rd room still had a fault.. But great staff!!
