Wonderful experience! Beautiful location and space. Quiet street, and but near everything. Get a room with the temple view. Only suggestion is to have coffee in the rooms, but this was truly an excellent space with such nice staff.

We had a wonderful stay at Phya Nya Residence and would happily return. The residence is beautifully restored with genuine character and a calm, elegant atmosphere that fits perfectly with Luang Prabang’s heritage feel. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, striking a great balance between traditional style and modern comfort. It felt like a peaceful retreat to come back to after a day of exploring. The location is ideal. Close enough to walk to the old town, temples, and markets, yet tucked away enough to remain quiet and uncrowded. Mornings here were particularly lovely, unhurried and relaxed. The complimentary bicycles were a great touch and made it easy to explore the town and surrounding streets at a leisurely pace. Such a simple inclusion, but it really added to the overall experience. What truly stood out was the staff, especially La, who was warm, genuinely friendly, and always happy to help with local tips, transport, or bookings without ever feeling intrusive. Overall, Phya Nya Residence is a charming, peaceful, and authentic place to stay. A great choice if you value tranquillity, character, and thoughtful service over something genericcommercial.

What a fabulous place in an amazing location, just a few moments walk from the best cafes and bakeries / many temples / night market etc, yet it’s somehow so peaceful at Pha Nya. Our family room was lovely with very comfortable beds and lots of space for the 4 of us. We even looked out onto the entrance of a smaller temple and could watch the monks set off on their early morning walk to collect alms….quite magical. The staff were helpful and friendly, we really could not fault anything. Would absolutely return :)
