Hotel Solidaire Mangily

We had an amazing stay, the staff were all very friendly and incredibly helpful when our flight was cancelled. They organised excellent local guides for us to visit the Spiny Forest during our stay. The hotel was clean, the pool area was lovely and all the food was great

El lugar es muy bonito y tranquilo, la piscina es una delicia y el personal super amable. Y además un magnífico proyecto de ayuda a los niños de la zona

Struttura un po' defilata a Mangiliy, dall'altro lato della strada principale rispetto al mare e quindi senza accesso alla spiaggia. Struttura grande e immersa in un parco, con bella piscina. Personale molto cortese ma un po' disorganizzato (non trovavano la nostra prenotazione). Sonno disturbato a causa della musica fino a tarda notte proveniente da locali nelle vicinanze.

Personnel parfait, disponible, à l’écoute et très sympathique. Bungalow très mal isolé et insonorisé, bruyant toute la nuit, Côté restaurant, cuisine basique , chère pour le service proposé.

Der Betreiber der Unterkunft ist super. Die Betten sind ok Der Wasserstrahl der Dusche ist nicht so toll Der Pool und das Essen sind auch gut Man braucht ca 10 Minuten zum Strand

Well kept really nice place, at a secluded spot not far from the main road. The personnel is super friendly and the service is perfect. The link to an NGO that cares for underprivileged children makes it even more sympathetic.

Fa parte di una ONG , si passa dalla scuola per entrare. Una volta dentro gradita sorpresa: un’oasi di pace con giardino bellissimo, bungalow grandi e confort e puliti. Cena e colazione ottimi. Personale carino. Piscina sporca ma nessuno va in piscina sono tutti al mare. Si aiuta una scuola

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The location is in the town but very private, quiet and only few minutes to the beach. The bungalow is clean, bed is comfortable with mosquito net. The two patio door with one side entrance and the other side is a deck. Bathroom is big and with hot water shower. We had 2 nights with electricity problem. It was good overall and we will stay here again when we come back.

Des mon arrivée j’ai constaté que l’hôtel ne correspondait aucunement à mes attentes l’environnement était dans un état exécrable c’est pourquoi j’ai annulé ma réservation j’ai demandé un remboursement partiel 2 nuits sur 3. Hôtel à déconseiller fortement

Our stay at the hotel was amazing. The area is definitely still recovering from post-Covid tourist decline, and it being the shoulder season for Northern Hemisphere tourists, we had the place almost to ourselves. Our host Christian was super friendly and helpful. He found our debit card we left behind, and helped arrange it to get returned. And he is an amazing artist on the side! Make sure you ask to see his sketchbook. Incredible food for 3 meals a day, and walking distance to the beach. It was really nice being away from the waterfront and other tourists. Christian and another local Tintin were able to arrange sailing, snorkeling, and a oxcart ride to the sacred forest, full of the famous baobab trees. All of this was within 20mins of the hotel, and well worth the trip. The food is all grown locally at a garden run by and funded by the hotel. They really work hard to develop within the community. The cabins/bungalows were very comfortable and attractive, along with the pool and hotel grounds. Everything was clean and well kept, we had laundry services as well. They made our stay very comfortable and easy. Cannot recommend this place enough, we would love to return and spend more time!
