It's in a slightly scary section of town. The staff only seems to like if you speak French. Our other hotels had a safe dedicated parking area, away from the beggers. I didn't see that option here. The spa services cost way more than comparable hotels. On the plus side, the room was very nice and clean.

Nice place, but poor internet connections in the rooms.

Hôtel atypique offrant non seulement de belles sur la ville mais plein de charme avec le bois précieux portant son nom. Il offre de très belles chambres, propres et spacieuse. Les massages sont excellents et le spa est très bien. Excellente restauration aussi avec une belle terrasse qui enchante les repas. Je vais regretter le Wifi de très mauvaises qualité lors de mon passage alors que j'avais travail et ce besoin. Je regrette aussi le bruit le matin car je me suis retrouvé en face des bureaux du management de l'hôtel qui travaille la porte ouverte et pour lequel j'ai eu entendu toutes les conversations professionnelles. Cela reste un très bon hôtel et je n'hésiterais pas à y revenir.

Beautiful hotel with lovely views! Large and very comfortable beds and large rooms. Definitely the best hotel in Tana!! Breakfast was plentiful!! Just a note, this was our 3rd hotel we stayed in Tana, prices for beer/drinks and dinners were quite a bit more than other hotels.

Excellent hôtel, bon rapport qualité prix, confortable, terrasse avec magnifique vue sur la ville, belle piscine et employés très serviables. Le seul hic est que le restaurant avec piano est très (trop) tranquille

I stayed here on two ocassions. Once for two nights and the other time for one night. The hotel is safe and secure. It is tiny with nice facilities. Nothing is extraordinary. For my first stay, the bed was uneven and the springs were bad. The rooms are smaller in size but efficient if one just wants to stay for a night or two. The breakfast is free and is very modest. Almost not up to the mark. An omelette is chargeable. I found that strange.

The staff was so helpful and nice. We felt safe and taken care of. Very nice and comfortable rooms.

Way too much for what you get. Don’t be fooled. Shop around. You can find better for half as much.

Bon emplacement, très bon restaurant avec vue sur la ville. Piscine et spa agréable. Chambre confortable mais climatisation un peu bruyante. Direction très soucieuse de la satisfaction des clients.

Hotel parfait pour visiter à pied le centre de Tananarive. Très bon accueil, direction et personnel font le maximum pour satisfaire la clientèle. Le restaurant sert une excellente cuisine. Dispose d'un spa et d'une piscine très agréable. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Toutefois l'eau minerale en chambre est payante et la climatisation assez bruyante.

The hotel is simple and the rooms are comfortable. The hotel staff are accommodating and very friendly. Restaurant Patio has beautiful views of the city and offer a great place to start your morning or end your day. The pool and workout center is affiliated with the spa. Expect a tour of the spa service area prior to enjoying the facilitites.

Everyone here was very helpful, and the location and view were great!

Nice hotel, however they advertise free airport transfer, and they add pricey airport transfers and many fees to your room charge.

The hotel is nice, with a good view, nice and clean rooms, friendly staff. The days I stayed there the weather was rather chilly especially at night. The room I stayed in had no heating (like many other hotels in Tana, as I was informed), which made my stay less than comfortable. When I settled the bill I was informed that the price per night was over the rate that was advertised (100€ instead of the rate of 89€ ). When I pointed out that I found this problematic their claim was that this was due to a fluctuation in the rate of the Euro. I had no time nor the patience to check this, nor is this relevant, as it is the valuta in which the price is agreed in that should count. Hence I did pay, but under protest. Do I recommend this hotel? I guess I would, but I advise potential guests to double check whether the agreed price is still valid. And if it is winter perhaps try to find a hotel that offers heating in the rooms.

We concluded our vacation in Madagascar at Palissandre. Staff was very caring and attentive with details. The pool was very nice as Tana can get hot on some days, we had a small balcony access with great views of Tana and sunsets. It was a good way to wrap up our vacation in Tana! My fiancé and I couldn't have been happier to have chosen to stay here!

This hotel is first class. Very nice terrace. I found the one-way street a bit annoying and it is not a great neighborhood to be walking around at night.
