Nice stay

Rooms are very basic and desperately need redecoration. We had one breakfast which wasn’t great but the next day was Malaysian style and it looked much better. I think the staff do their best with what they’ve got. But the location is amazing, you walk straight from your beach hut onto the beach and there is really great snorkelling right there!

Vi har hatt to nydelige uker her på Paradise! Rommene er som det kommer frem på bildene gamle og slitte, men sengene er rene og servicen hos personalet er fantastisk. Du bor rett på stranden, og har tilgang til alt du måtte trenge innen rekkevidde. Frokosten er variert og maten er god. Anbefales virkelig!

Resort Mit großem potenzial und optimaler lage aber: (Hintergrund: Wir reisen seit 20 Jahren in Asien, vom einfachen zimmer bis zum 4 sterne hotel...= wir kennen jegliche Klassen und unsere erwartumgshaltung sterne unabhängig, es sollte sauber sein... - mehrere nächte hatten wir die mäuse zu besuch. Diese zerfrasen unsere tasche (Bei unseren nachbarn waren sie auch) - lange und nervige diskussionen mit dem manager um ein neues zimmer zu bekommen (keinerlei verständnis und antwort: wir sind kein 3 sterne hotel) -keinerlei auswahl bei sehr undankbaren frühstück. Frühstück sehr monoton tages abwechseld traditionell und western...beide optionen nicht optimal nahe einer zumutung. - löscher in den wänden, waschbecken nicht wirklich an der wand fixiert, kaum ablagemöglichleiten - insgesamt einfach nicht sauber - mitarbeiter sehr freundlich auch wenn ihnen durch den manager der keinerlei interesse an seinen gästen hat die hände gebunden sind -starker urin geruch im bad - kei wifi - klimanalage fernbedingung defekt - 2 wochen work in progress, baustelle inkl. Verwendung vo stark richenden lacken und ständogem geräuschpegel Mäuse inkl deren Haus im Dach in der Hall wo man essen kann... Redang ist wunserschön das resort lässt zu wünschen übrig...

Chambre affreuse en particulier, la salle de bain qui ressemble vraiment à celles des cellules de prison. Photos trompeuses, sûrement très anciennes. Les murs sont sales, les robinetteries rouillées et sales, la peinture très ancienne, moche et défraîchie. Les sanitaires n'étaient pas en reste, une odeur d'urine qui ne donnait vraiment pas envie d'y passer du temps. Le ménage n'a pas été fait en 3 jours (sable dans la chambre et serviettes humides) et il n'y a même pas de miroir. On a dû batailler pour qu'on nous prête un tout petit miroir le 2ème jour. Le seul point positif c'est qu'on est en face de la plage. Mais l'hôtel est vraiment trop cher pour le service assuré. Les fourmis et les moustiques y sont légion, prévoir un appareil anti-moustiques. L'hôtel est en travaux donc les bruits sont gênants surtout tôt le matin et tard le soir car températures plus douces. Service shuttle disponible dommage qu'ils ne nous l'aient pas proposé avant d'arriver car on a attendu au port ne sachant pas que c'était possible. Le petit déjeuner est différent chaque jour. Plutôt correct à condition d'aimer manger salé le matin On n'est pas difficile mais là dans l'ensemble c'était vraiment horrible. Cf photos

** Je n'ai pas pu poster de photos, le lien ne fonctionne pas ** Je ne comprends pas pourquoi Hotels.com vous proposez ce type d'hébergement Ce qui devait être un séjour de rêve, s'est transformé en une très mauvaise expérience L'hébergement proposé est inadmissible, ce genre de prestation ne devrait même pas être proposé Dès l'arrivée, à l'escalade du bateau, nos bagages ont été laissés sur le sable mouillé, aucune assistance ni aide n'a été apporté ou proposé Arrivée à 12h00, la réception n'a pas voulu faire d'enregistrement, il fallait attendre 15h Sous la chaleur, même pas un verre d'eau nous a été proposé, mais ça reste un détail Sur un des oreillers, ainsi que sur le bord du lit, il y avait des tâches de sang Dans la salle de bain, tout fuyait : La chasse d'eau fuyait à chaque fois qu'elle était tirée Le lavabo, à chaque utilisation, fuyait avec l'eau sale, brossage de dents, lavage des mains, etc... tout se retrouvait à nos pieds La douche, le robinet fuyait ce qui entraînait une perte de pression... casi inutilisable La literie était inconfortable Au moins une chaise aurait été appréciable, également 3 serviettes pour 5 personnes durant 4 jours, c'est limite. Le petit-déjeuner était très médiocre L'endroit était très bruyant, au-delà de la musique des hôtels voisins, il y avait un groupe électrogène à proximité de la chambre Le dernier jour il a fallut payer 30 RM, pour se faire déposer les bagages à l'endroit du bateau, à 1 minute en tracteur... lamentable

Paradise is a fantastic budget option for a solo traveler or esp a family that doesnt need pampering but wants a safe, clean, pleasant place. The staff are super helpful and Oaradise offers people a cha ce to enjoy Redang's amazing sea life without spending hundreds of dollars a day in the nearby resorts. If you plan to enjoy the water and just want a room for sleeping, also olenty of space for a group, this place is it. I walked into the water in front of this place and saw turtles, sharka and lots of pretty coral and fish. Hint: bring your own snorkel gear and you don't have to wait til the noisy boars leave with big groups at 9 or 10. Early morning is magical. The backside of the island is worth exploring too, but behind beach resorts you'll see the business end of them. Infistrial equipment, trash dump, etc. If you are picky about wanting the pristine enclosure, then maybe pick one of the more expensive resorts. They range from a minimum of $120 a night to $800. There were families with young children at Paradise and everyone seemed to be having a good time.Again, the staff were great, the food yummy, and the room no frills but perfectly fine and as described. This goes for all budget places, but if you are a light aleepwr, bring earplugs. Walls are thin and there's outdoor music til 1030.

I had a great stay here. Initially, I was a bit hesitant to book this place due to previous reviews. But honestly, for a budget hotel it was great, and I would book again. The location was perfect, on the quieter side of the beach, but easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars on the other side of the beach. The food was better than expected, and have no complaints about that. The chef even came out a few times to make sure everything was ok. The room facilities were good. Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and comfortable bed is all I needed. My only issue was that they need sheets underneath the blankets as the blankets themselves tend to be a bit itchy. The service at the reception was good. They even let us check in early. My only issue is that checkout was at 10am, which seems a bit too early, given that most places have check out at noon. They did let us check out at 11am though, but I would prefer not to ask. Overall, it’s a great budget hotel, and if you remember that you are not going to a place with fancy amenities than your stay will be good.

Resort pessimo

建物の老朽化が目立ちます。木造ですが、腐ったところが複数あり、ベランダの床の穴に足を踏み入れ、けがをしました。病院へは連れてくれましたが、謝罪の言葉はありませんでした。エアコンやバス、トイレもあまりちゃんとしていません。

Dirty, unhygienic and run down property. The owner is cheating innocent travellers with his fraudulent details. There is nothing called house beeping in this resort although they have charged ~800 $ for two nights and three days. The rooms are disgusting with holes and cracks all over. The bathroom has gaping holes with a door that cannot be shut!! The bathroom in a public dormitory would be cleaner than this. The property has garbage all over with a huge problem with mosquitoes. But sadly the receptionist will not even help spray an insecticide. I would expect some know nd of a background check by Hotels.com before they endorse such properties on their website. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! remove this resort from your list if you care about the credibility of your website!!

For very budget stay only.

One of the worst hotel I stayed don’t know still on Expedia as it’s rubbish. No where close to pictures. Toilet are dirtier than any cheap public toilets. Avoid best advise unless!!!!!!!

This resort is located at the center of the long beach. A lot of mosquitoes!!!! The hotel people are fine.. some are nice some can only provide lip service.. I will definitely not going back and not recommended this place to any of my Fren.

Good overall

清潔感は全くありません。布団には小さいアリがそこらにいて、シャワーには羽アリの群れが50匹ほどいました。コンセントもなく、夜はネズミか何か動物が動き回る音が屋根裏に聞こえます。夜は羽アリが飛んでいるのが気になり、まったくゆっくり眠れませんでした。従業員の方はいい人たちでしたが、もう泊まりたいとは思いません。

Vergane glorie.. Top locatie aan fantastisch stand, maar is alles mee gezegd. Dagen voorafgaand op verschillende tijdstippen proberen te bellen over transfer, niet te bereiken. Gerund door enkele jonge gasten, met totale desinteresse voor klanten. Hangen soms maar wat rond, vandaar niet te bellen. Ook geen website of e-mail. Onbereikbaar dus. Kamers in verval, vuil, handdoeken alleen na aandringen, muizenkeutels en lopen 's nachts door de kamer, beddegoed lijkt niet gewassen, kakkerlak in de kamer, ontbijt elke dag hetzelfde (bordje vette hap, koud). 24 uur/dag koffie en thee. Ja dat staat 24 uur te pruttelen, 's ochtend gaan er een paar nieuwe zakje bij (!) en aangevuld met water: klaar! Badkamer geheel drijfnat (incl toilet) na douchen. Motten-verdrijver als luchtverfrisser. Wastafelkraan gebroken, water komt er aan alle kanten uit. Stortbak druppelend vol na gebruik, maar zelf maar gevuld om niet wakker te liggen van het gesijpel. Geen wifi (hebben we niet, oh net defect), TV maar geen abo op sat-zenders. Lijken beiden opgezegd. Drama ...
