This is a basic motel with a clean room in a well-maintained community. You should hire a car or motorbike since waking from this location isn't convenient. Room entry doors really need weatherstripping and door sweeps to keep out the bugs, especially at night when guests are home and room lights are on, which attract bugs. The owners are a very nice family who take pride in the cleanliness and upkeep of the property. It's a good place for a budget stay if you don't mind the bugs or at least pushing a towel under the door each night to mostly keep them out.

Sri Melor Inn (Room 3): PROS: 1. Basic, clean, well-maintained room at a good price; 2. Good, quiet aircon; 3. New scooter available to rent; 4. Friendly, kind, and helpful family staff; 5. Property is clean and well-kept; 6. Daily water (2 small bottles) and basic toiletries provided; 7. Toilet water has built-in blue sanitizer/cleaner. CONS: 1. Entry door desperately needs weatherstripping & doorsweep to reduce myriad bugs & geckos from entering room (if room light is on at night, plenty of bugs will enter the room through the large gap beneath the door. I used my dirty clothes to plug the gap each night). In-room ant spray is provided; 2. No blackout shades (thinly veiled window curtains limit privacy, especially at night with interior room lights on); 3. Can't sit outside or otherwise leave unit without all power turning off (unable to remove key from the power-supply-keyring to keep room power on, and the door is designed to swing open if not locked by that key); 4. Bathroom is very small, has low water pressure, and the door height is unusually low, resulting in limited space to place items and tall people easily hitting their head when walking in/out; 5. No bolted/secured safe to store passport and other valuables; 6. Motel lost water for several hours on 2 separate days; 7. Dogs barking/howling at night; 8. No alcohol or pork products allowed anywhere on-property, including guestrooms; 9. No desk/chair/workspace in room; 10. No community amenities (e.g., pool, gym).

Stayed there 2 nights check-in lady was very pleasant although speaking limited English :) basic room in a village area this is where you can live close to the locals. About 5 mins walk to local shops and eateries and 15 mins to Chenang beach mall, duty free and shopping street. Due to respect you’re not allowed to drink alcohol and bring pork on this premise which is fine with us. I’d say it’s a tranquil stay with basic and quite clean room. Some ants on the floor but that’s part of nature and we cleaned it ourselves. You need your own toiletries for most budget places in Malaysia.

Family run guest house in a very convenient and quiet area. 15 min by walk from the beach and 10min to Pantai Cenang. Best value for the money stay in Pantai Cenang area. Recomended!!!

Belle chambre et propre ! Propriétaire super gentille et elle nous a aidé pour la location de scooter et pour appeler un taxi! Mais un peu loin de tout à pied mais se fait super bien en scooter pour aller au "centre-ville".
