Friendly Service. Free wifi. Really noisy, you hear the neighbours, directly opposite to the prison. Window in bath room could not be closed (flies came in), hard bed, ants in bathroom sink

I had a pleasant stay at Alaika Hotel in Maafushi. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and the staff are very professional. Everything was well-organized, and I felt taken care of throughout my stay. Maafushi is also the most active and tourist-friendly island I visited, with plenty of activities, restaurants, and excursions available. One small downside: there are only two rooms upstairs that get natural light, and unfortunately, we didn’t get one of them. Still, it didn’t take away from the overall positive experience.

The experience was ok, breakfast was good, they give you towels for the beach, and the air conditioning works perfectly, but the photos doesn’t match exactly as the ones advertised on hotels.com and not even similiar to the ones in google maps (it shows a swimming pool that doesn’t exist) it’s a few blocks from the prison and next to a mosque so prepare for the 430am prayers from really loud speakers, also there is doing a super loud construction of a building next door

The staff is fantastuc, but owners has to upgrade this property, toilet leakage, bargeoom upgrade, TV is not in working condition, most important Safe is not working, broken safe kept in all rooms, no closet to keep your clothes nor any bench to keep your suitcases. This oroperty is not worth in Expedia standard, fake pictures guest get carried away to book it.

Wat een verrassing, dit hotel. Kleinschalig, maar brandschone, comfortabele kamers. Ontbijt eenvoudig maar prima en voldoende. Loopafstand naar het strand ongeveer 10 minuten. Snorkelspullen en strandhanddoeken gratis te gebruiken. Medewerkers supervriendelijk en steeds bereid om het de gasten naar de zin te maken. Vooraf via WhatsApp contact gehad en afspraken gemaakt. Snelle reactie. Zelden zo naar mijn zin gehad in een hotel!

Ambiente nuovo, accogliente e pulito. Camera grande funzionale con ottimo bagno e doccia. Dista circa 10 mn a piedi dalla spiaggia. Staff sempre presente, cordiale, amichevole e disponibile. Biciclette, teli mare e attrezzatura da snorkeling a disposizione sempre e gratuitamente. Colazione completa, ricca e varia.

非常棒也值得的民宿!員工人跟服務都很好,居住環境很乾淨,雖然必須從LOBBY從赤腳踩回房間(鞋子放院子),但腳掌是完全不會黑的,水上活動也帶得相當有趣,下次來會再考慮入住!

The hotel/guest house is located in an island town which is 30 min speed boat ride from the Male airport. The speed boat was available during certain time only, so we had to wait like couple of hours in the airport. When we reached the island by speedboat, we had hotel staff picking our bags and took us by walk to the place. I was expecting a complete different place, to my surprise it was not. I felt like I'm going to Kerala literally :) When I checked about food, the hotel staff said like the food there itself it good and was not sure about other restaurants. We had dinner there just twice (dinner, lunch) and we were done! The food was good, but we couldn't have for 2nd time, because the options were kind of same.. Same chicken, either in Noodles or Rice :) When asked about activities, the charges were Okay like $35 per person for Snorkeling, Sand bank which took about 3 hours. They initially told that they don't hurry like other company who do water activities for cheaper price and would set fixed time, but even these people were hurry which I was not happy about. When we went for walk and found that we had good deals on activities and also giving free ride to airport when multiple activities done with same company. Free ride to airport is really good, because it costs $25 per person to airport!!!! Seriously!! They charged $200 for 4 people round trip!!! I could have easily saved that if I had talk to people upfront. Alaka is good place to stay for price they provide

we stay there one week. it was defenetely perfect accomodation!! we love there.

Habe dort acht Nächte zum Tauchen verbracht, binnen zehn MInuten Fußweg ist man am Hafen.

It was an amazing stay, great and friendly staff, clean and neat room, breakfast are great, hotel location not really far from interest point (even can ask for hotel staff to sent guest to everywhere) and staff always suggest for a good activities with a good providers.

Very kind and helpful personnel, you can take for free for daily use snorkeling masks, flippers, towels. Clean rooms, everything is great except closely located scrapyard, where almost everyday people are burning rubbish. It smells when there's no wind. All the rest is very good for the money you pay
